Wow, this crappy forum. I didn't see your posts. But as I hit reply I saw them. Wierd... However, I have no clue about that bug, farting, I hope it will work for you soon! I also hope you get your chars up 'til next WE. :) I just hit lvl 33 and I'm doing eldritch runs until lvl 40 (or until I get bored). It's just cool, I got conviction and so on. :D
 
Exactly what day this weekend will the session be, if anything has been decided yet? I wanted to know because I think I'll be gone most of Saturday.
 
Last time there were two sessions and I I would like to host whenever I'm there. I could host on friday and saturday night (beginning in the evening) and it would be a joy if you could all come! :thumbsup: I am now lvl 41 and almost fighting the ancients. At lvl 45 I'll equip Baezil's Vortex and rock the WSK! :D

(the games freezes on the loading page when i first enter a new act, and then closes, with an error messege pop up, ive re-installed and still no luck. So far the only thing i found that works is to save at the end of an act, then edit the save file to give me the next towns WP, then just use that, but i dont like editing it, but i dont have any choice, unless i just want to play level 1 alot..)

do you play without the sound? that might be the cause.

Seems like he has experienced it, too. Just try it!

I just killed baal (went down in about 5 secs due to that awesome crushing blow) and I'm almost lvl 43. :)
 
With -ns in the command line you cannot go to a new act. The game will crash when it wants to play the movie and when you reload you have to kill the act boss again.

On slower computers it can give a substantial improvement in the gamespeed, so I always use it.
 
Yeh! It is actually sleeping time, but I couldn't resist and did some baalruns. I am now lvl 47 and it's cutting cookies! I ripped through everything with a butcher's pupil, but the real power showed at lvl 45 with Baezi's Vortex and the near maxed conviction. I hit all the time except for the boss monsters. Seems like conviction is capped with them, so I will max out zeal next. Haha, this is so much fun. Tomorrow he will reach lvl 50 immediately. I don't think I can stop to play him now, but I will have to! ;) I might start a new char tomorrow. My first real 'sin or druid... Good night!
 
Wheee, lvl 50 now! This char is teh pwn! :) I love him, damn about not being able to play him any further. ^^ I look forward to the weekend... I can already wear half of my equipment. Do you remember that I wanted to put IAS j00ls in the armor and helm? That would give me 5 fpa with gimmershred (15 helm + 15 armor + 10 belt + 20 gloves = 60). And luckily I found this:

(if I will find GA + HL in some time...)

Well, it doesn’t really matter where you put it unless you plan to reequip him. If you more likely will change armor, then put it in the helm. As long as your aims with it, is just this character.



How many more weekends will it take to get to hell baalruns do you think? My pally will soon be 94 and it would be nice to have someone to play with when he reaches level 95.
 
Hey, thanks! I just asked, because I have the first socket quest available. I need to socket one in the helm and armor. However I will just socket it in the helm... Erm, yes, dunno how to explain and all...a adfasd confused ^^

Erm, last weekend there was only one session and we made it form the beginning to act 3. The "homework" was then to beat normal baal and get lvl 50. Next WE we will then play nightmare and I suppose the "homework" will then be to make the char a champion. If it will be like that, you will have to wait 2 weekends for us! :xman:
 
there was a second session last weekend (on sat, 6pm cet) hosted by me - but noone joined

i'll hit L50 within the next 10mins, then i'll level my blessed aim merc. my singing barb is a real killer, but i still dunno how to deal with his huge mana consumption. i still dunno how to skill him right, because i dont know what his end-gear will be (2x wizardspike or 1x wizardspike/lidless; i want HotO!!!111)

PS: i've time for mp the whole weekend ;)

i've played a singer before, and the lack of mana is a real pain. I actually dropped some points into energy (my only character to do so), and stacked my inventory with mana charms. Still, you don't get that much. A nice trick is to use find potion on corpses for big purples that help you much more than blues.

Hey Kefir-Tribe! Sorry, I was a bit confused, yesterday, dunno. What I wanted to say: I am aiming for the 5 fpa breakpoint. With LoH + the IAS of the weapon + nos's coil, I will still need 30 IAS. I will use duriel's shell + mara's caleidoscope. An IAS jewel in the helm and one in the armor would give me 30. If I had a highlord's wrath, I would change it with the mara's. Then I would be able to wear an armor without IAS. The no.1 armor would be a Guardian Angel, which I don't have either. So I will play with the duriel's mara's combo until I find a HL and then I will need an IAS jewel in the armor. Now I have my first socket quest available and I am thinking about where to socket the first jewel, because it has 13% lightning resistance. I thought it would be nice in the armor, because it already has that much resists and then it would get even more, eh... And with the IAS + resists it would perhaps do well on a bowazon, if I would find a GA... However, I found 3 IAS jewels yesterday (^^, one with poison res, this one with lit res and one with stamina, lol)... You say I should socket it in the helm if I will change the armor, but unfortunately I won't find a GA soon... (probably) However, the problem is now which one to socket in what, because of the resists and such...

And Kefir-Tribe... I think it depends on how much sessions there will be. Chances are high that there are 2 this weekend, so Maybe you don't have to wait 2 weeks... We'll see. I look forward to have you in the group! :thumbsup:

Ouwww... :D Actually I don't trade, because I rather find all my stuff alone. But this could be the first time... ^^ What would you want for the GA? Also I would need a HL, because of the IAS... :-/
 
Okay. I do think you will come by a Guardian Angel, soon or later. It's not an uncommon drop and judging from the rest of your equipment... edit: oh, maybe sooner then..

I'm getting closer to 94 but did a stupid thing today. I left the computer in the middle of a run and was sure that I had pushed esc. But when I came back Bartuc was standing grinning on my pallys body. I got it back, so no more then 10min of playing time lost. But it hurt my pride to die at these levels.

I'm looking forward to play with you guys too. I think Holy Shock and Conviction will be fun together.
