4. Anyone have experience with <removed by moderator>

A BAD THING!!!

1. Should I use Stormshield and BOTD CB or Duel BOTD CB?

Stormshield + EBotd CB.

2. Should I put in 40ED/15IAS in Stormshield and Arreats or somthing else?

The IAS off-weapon doesn't help you at all, except for Guided Arrows and Berserk. Use 40ed/20 life or 40ed/9dex.

3.Which should I use, Fortitude or Enigmas?

Both. Fortitude versus Barbarians and Enigma versus rest.

4. Anyone have experience with d2legit.com?

Such links and questions are not allowed here.

Amulet:
The Cats Eye

Useless. Get a Highlord's Wrath and an Angelic amulet.

Rings:
2xRavenfrosts

Make sure you got high dexterity and high AR. Also get 2x Angelic rings to use versus other barbarians.

Weapon:
BOTD CB or Duel BOTD CB Eth 385-399% ED?

You should use +400% EBotdCB. However, Zerker Axes are even better. And a Grief Zerker is the best possible weapon.

Shield:
Stormshield(socketed with 40ed/15ias)

Helm:
Arreat's Face(socketed with 40ed/15ias)

Again, off-weapon IAS doesn't help. Use 40ed/20life or 40ed/9dex. Also, you should consider dual wielding 2 axes (Grief and Beast) in public games, as it does more damage than any other setup.

Armor:
Fortitude Archon plate or Enigma Archon plate?

Both. Build your stats so that you can use all your gear without depending form Enigma's STR.

Gloves:
Soul Drainers

BAAAD!!!! Use Dracul's Grasp.

Boots:
Goreriders

Good. However, you should consider using triple or double resistance boots in public games.

You really, really shouldn't buy items from such sites, as those items are 99.999999%'ly dupes and will poof at a time. Also, spending such money on virtual items is foolish. Doesn't matter if you do not have the time or if you do. If you do not have the time to get good items in the game without buying them, do not play the game.

This 15 IAS from the jewels are worthless since BOTDs already hit the last WW breakpoint. You could replace that mod with something else.

In PvP Angelic Ring/Ammy > Cats Eye/Ravenfrost.

My Barb has both Fort and Enigma, depends who I'm dueling. Same with Storm Sheild and dual/single weilding. You will find times when both are good.

Never bought from <removed by moderator>... Can't help ya there.

BOO to this. Buy all you want. It's not like we pay the 15 bucks a month to play WoW, I wouldn't listen to anyone who tells you not to play the game. It's your choice spend your money how you want. I would much rather spend the 3 bucks on buying a BOTD then the 3 years it would take to find the runes to make it.

Or maybe the few hours mfing and getting the feeling of elation when you find something valuable. Anyway, see you in two days

Hey I'm trying to steal this dudes thread or go off topic so this is the last thing I'll say about this. Whats fun for you (jmsplat and the like) may or may not be fun for others. If you enjoy doing meph runs for hours, thats cool. If you dont and buy items from others, thats cool too.

Personaly I enjoy playing the game and I spend money on way dumber stuff then this. I spend 9 bucks on a movie ticket thats gonna give me enjoyment for 2 hours, so whats wrong with spending a quarter of that on something thats gonna give me enjoyment for a much longer period of time?

Hundreds of thousands of people spend 15 bucks a month to play MMORPGs is this considered foolish? Telling someone not to play a game for any reason is what i consider foolish you always have the option of not playing with them.

Either way do what makes you happy.

I'm not worried about the fun factor.

I'm worried about this guy's money.

Heck, I would have nothing against buying a movie ticket.

As for the WoW part, I do consider that dumb. But that's why I do not play WoW.

lol guys, don't fight please. This is just a few bucks left over from my paycheck, and well yeah haha. And oh yeah I definitely know how it feels to find good items, I used to be pretty damn good in 1.09(haha but who wasn't lol ;] ).

anyways back to the topic.
Redone Setup

Amulet:
Angelic Ammy

Rings:
2x Angelic set rings

Weapon:
BOTD CB 400% ED

Shield:
Stormshield(socketed with Ber rune?)

Helm:
Arreat's Face(socketed with Um rune?)

Armor:
Fortitude Archon plate&Enigma Archon plate

Belt:
String of ears

Gloves:
Draculs grasp

Boots:
Goreriders

And more questions =]
*They don't sell 40ed/9dex or 40ed/20life jewels, so would it be smart to go with those runes?
*How are the dracul's better then the soul drainers?
*Forgot to list the belt, will string of ears do well?
*What boots have those high resistance you recommended?
*Are 100poison dmg small charms worth it?

And I already put 20 to sword mastery so, I don't feel comfortable using axes.

anyways thanks for the help guys!

P.S. Sorry bout the illegal question on this site. haha

It's just something that's been tried and tested, which is why we know the setups. Dracs +to str allows for an easy boost to str required to equip your fort, or a low req enigma (dusk, etc), and the boost to OW as well. I can't remember the stats on drainers, but if you want it for leech, it does no good in PvP.

I'd also suggest building two barbs, one for BvB, the other for BvC. If you go with the 'tweener, you'll get owned by pure baba battlers, and you won't do as well against uber-casters who are only tested by elite BvC's. I've done what you're planning to do, and my little 4800hp barb was a lot of fun, but against really quality casters I noticed the need for another 1500+hps that my BvC had (ran about 6300hps with max resists, stacked at least 30 over on each, usually).

This allows for you to go with less strength and more vita; only enough dex for your axes, and the rest of THAT goes to vita (monster...); go with quality resist boots instead of gores (which are ideal for BvB only); go with arachs for added FCR and a boost to shouts; dual ravens or ravens/resist ring with a highlords (or for casters, I'd throw on a maras, you don't need the DS on those cupcakes, except for hi-powered windys); a BP/mage plate enigma so you can pump more into vitality; an um'd arreats for gorgeous resists. Throw on your beast/grief and you have a tyrant of the PvP rooms until you hit your BvBers, then...go get your BvB.

BvC, imo, is much more fun to play, more versatile, more active, more dynamic than a BvB. As an added bonus, nothing takes down smiters like a good BvC....and that's a good thing.

LOL jesus, you know your barbs...lol to be honest, I'm not trying to make the "best" barb, just a decent one is fine. Haha so.....
Amulet:
Highlords wrath

Rings:
Dual Ravens

Weapon:
BOTD CB 400% ED&Beast

Shield:
Stormshield(socketed with Ber rune)

Helm:
Arreat's Face(socketed with Um rune)

Armor:
Enigma Archon plate&Fortitude

Belt:
Arachnid Mesh

Gloves:
Draculs grasp

Boots:
????
Are you talking about magic boots?

I think that going specific is better than going general, tho some versatility is always good. So as it was already said above, a BvC or a BvB would get you more wins at each specific duel than a BvA. In any case a BvA barb could be fun too so check it below:

Ammy: High Lords / Angelics

Ring1: High as possible DEX/AR Ravenfrost (keep this item DEX in mind when spending stats to get max block)

Ring2: High as possible AR/DEX Raven frost (Its dex is a bonnus to ar, as you are not gonna use it when geting the dex you need to max block) / Angelics / other absorbing rings.

Weapon: As I understand, you want to use ebotd CB, so yeah, get as high ED as possible. A Grief Zweinhander is nice too, but hard to find (and check the IAs you need, Im not sure). Axes would do you more good, remember that next time you build a Barb.

Shield: SS

Helm: Arreats Face

Armor: Fortitude / Enigma

Belt: Dungos / Crafted (for Open Wounds/FHR)

Gloves: Dracs (its STR should be used to calc the STR you are gonna need to wear items)

Boots: Gores / Rares (resists/Hit Recovery/RW)

Shift: BO sticks

For the sockets, I would go w/ ED/STR or ED/DEX (using these stats to calculate what you need to wear items/reach max block). But if you want to use runes put the UM at the SS (more res than on helm). You dont really need BER as damage reduction is caped at 50% and SS + PDungo will give you that already. IMHO there is no needed rune to sock in the helm, but if you insist on this, maybe UM for more resistance (if needed), JAH for higher life, Shael for Hit recovery (only if you want to get the last BP) or any other that fill what you are lacking. Again my choice would be a high ED jewel even if you couldnt find a nice second mod, at least for Arreats Face.

Cheers

Eld is also commonly used in SS for the increased chance to block, at lvl 90 it can save you 20ish points of Dex.

in my opinion you should go with...

Ammy: highlord's

Ring1: high raven

Ring2: high raven

Weapon: grief zweihander hands down - more range than grief pb and more damage than botd

Shield: SS w/ eld

Helm: arreat's w/ um

Armor: enigma (tele = VERY useful)

Belt: 15% dr dungo's(maxes out dr% at 50 with ss)

Gloves: drac's - open wounds makes this very useful

Boots: gores

switch: +skills/bo stuff

At least 1 pt.

You seem to be going for a BvB.

All the cool kids do..

Anyhow if youre leaning towards BvB scrap Ravens / Highlords and just use Angelics; thats the only way youre going to hit others BvBs and Exile wearers.

Ive never needed Enigma and will likely never use it (again). Enigma is tough to master, ask any BvC, and though the results can be devastating I think most BvAs should just make BvBs with more resists.

Id use Fortitude or Duress and keep Widowmaker for defensive casters and jerk trappers. A lvl 90 OW guided arrow should change their mind about spamming you with fireballs.
