Char expired

I just realised my chars are expired when i log in from my laptop but not expired when log in from my desktop. Both using different CD keys.
Y is this so?

Check the system's clock on your laptop.

It takes that into account? I assumed it'd be based on the clock serverside.

It is, as in altering your system clock wont bring your chars back if they have really expired, but you will get the error on your end if the system clock on your computer is wrong, change the date and it will all be fixed.
