Changing the in-game font... possible?

Is it just me, or do the fives look exactly like sixes to everyone else as well? This has irritated me for so long. Is there any known way to change the font to something easier to read?

I don't know.

Really? I've heard that, but they look completely different to me.
However, the ones I have problems with are:
Zero and lower-case 'O' have only one difference: 'O' has an extra pixel in the upper-left.
Lower-case 'L' and upper-case 'I' are literally the same, but the 'L' has one pixel of space on the right side and 'I' has two pixels space on the right side.

As far as I know you can't change the in-game font and if it is possible, it will likely violate the EULA.
Be very careful with 3rd party apps which claim to do this, once installed, they might steal your account or CD key. (best thing is to not use 3rd party apps at all)

5 and 6 look very similar on my old screen (a 15" lcd if i remember correctly) i think that it became a problem when the d2 exp came out and then you could have a higher resolution and the fonts where never altered and as a result there are too many pixels cramed into a smaller space so unless you write in caps all the time (a personal favorite of mine) its just something that you wil have to put up with it

I think I would run Diablo in Classic resolution if LoD makes it less legible. Though this would mainly be because I do not have LoD.
At least that explains why some people type in caps all the time in those dueling games. :)
