CD key question

So I am trying to put this game on my new computer but I can't find my LOD key, only my classic.

Is there a way to transfer the file from one computer to another? Where would that file be?

I tried moving the entire Diablo 2 file and that didn't work out at all.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Gorny, this is the information I wanted. I'm gonna keep trying to find it, but that last (illicit) option keeps sounding better and better although I will have to really search. Unless, of course, a good samaritan wants to lend me a key, but we would never advise that here either, lol.
