BvC up or non up arreats?

BvC's do not usually max out shout so the extra def really doesn't make a difference. Also, an upped arreats has a ridiculous str req of 196 instead of the normal 118. At 118 str, the arreat's gives you +20 str. You would then have 138 str, which allows you to use zerkers, namely beast for more +str. Basically a nonupped arreats is more flexible than an upped one.

You'll have trouble equipping beast with an upped arreats since the 20 strength at 118 strength is all you need for a ba.
It's true that you don't need items with a lot of defence for a bvc but i still like to get nice items, like perfect upped gores (213 def), perfect arreat, perfect arac, perfect draculs and so on.
