My Mav's strafe zon has 408 dex with all added bonuses and normal attack that = 10318 AR and shows a 88% chance to hit an enslaved in act5 hell. But i dont know how true that is i hear the Zon has a display bug or something.Necromortis said:That's what Dex. points and AR charms are for

I'm sure @Necromortis takes exception to that. Or he would if he had been around at all this past decade
I suggest he swaps out Razortail for a crafted Blood Belt. This will reduce the piercing and give up to 10% open wounds. Of course he could also socket the crossbow with an Um, but he may need that for IAS.
Gut Siphon may be interesting as it also slows the target, but maybe 33% pierce is too high. Buriza and Demon Machine are obviously out. Maybe Hellrack? He could use The Immolation Arrow charges and barbecue the meat all in one go.

This post has so much oddness to it, I'm not sure what to think.
The account was created in January but the first post was on Tuesday? I had to read it three times before I realized they were asking a hunting question about actual bows vs crossbows. I'm not sure where they are, but it's definitely not hunting season where I live... And when I use my favorite search engine for "bows vs. crossbows" it isn't until the bottom of page two when I see a video game page, none of which were the D2 SPF. Who are you and how did you find us? Not being hostile, just genuinely curious.

Just a bot which seems to be developing a hostile AI of sorts. It seems to lack some calculating power however...
It hasn't figure out yet that bows and crossbows aren't probably the most up to date weapons.
But hunting season? It's trying to conquer the world, obviously.
A bunch of guys I use to work with back in the 80s use to hunt wild boar with crossbows and as far as I know they still do.

Well, since someone resurrected this thread..... Wildwitch strings are good for strafers correct?
Also, might I suggest respecing and putting less points in penetrate and pierce? This might help your crossbow issues.....
