Bonehew with shaels... worth it?

Like in topic.

Recently I started thinking about those 2 empty sockets I have in my Bonehew. Normal approach would be putting two shael runes in it, so it would reach last breakpoint. However, even with no runes inside, it reaches the 6frames breakpoint. The problem is that WW always has two sure attacks at max speed and my passes are extremely short, so I don't care about the speed too much. It would hurt me only when I am making long passes over whole manaburn mobs.

Maybe it would be better idea to put some ED jewels inside? I got one not bad, with 27% ED and +12 max dmg. Second slot would have to wait for its filler, though, as I have nothing else ;)

Is it a good idea?

I usually put a good -15% jewel in bonehew. IE: -15 with en dmg, or -15 with some IAS, or -15 with AR, etc. the second slot I usually throw an Amn in for some leech since I only use bonehew on mercs and they can't get leech from rings and gloves like we can. Don't know what kind of budget you're looking at, but if you're rich i'd go with the 15% IAS/-15 reqs jewel and an amn myself.

Well, putting just one IAS *anything* won't change the speed. It must be at least 30% IAS to get to last breakpoint.

By -15% you mean requirements reducing jewel?

My budget is... well, single playerish, that is, no zillions of high runes or perfect jewels with any mod I can imagine.

Damric: But the point is that I wouldn't have dramatic increase of attacks! If I use WW correctly, I could have a 14-frame weapon deal the same damage as 4-frame does... or am I wrong?

if all you need is 30% more ias then the simple answer is xxxx jewel of ferver, or a tastey rare.

Kordova: Two of these, as they give 15%. Two ruby jewels of ferwor would be great but I guess it would be easier to drop a Zod than obtain one of those :)

I'd vote for speed. I have both a ebotdzerker and glorious axe. ebotdz, while it has less damage waaaaay outperforms in terms of killing speed. Frames 4 & 8 only occur in a split second and most monsters are in mobs most of the time. So basically click, click, click etc instead of hanging in a ww rotation is inferior.

Thanks for opinion. Well, everyone who I ask tells me shael it, I've asked few friends as well. And I still want to see that 132-744 bonehew... I guess I'll just trade for another one as Damric suggested and try both options ;>

EDIT: shaeled. You all were right, guys, I don't think I'll search for that another Bonehew now ;)

if you sheal it thats a total 10% wasted, and i never said ruby jof, thats mui exensive.
