This. I guess it is really up to Moar to object or not, but that first paragraph is creepy, and not in a fun way, at least to me.
Apologies, but I felt the need to put one more post on this. omg, I feel your post crossed a line. I am fine with giving people a rough time because they think they are scum. I am fine with pushing people to see how they react. But even if that was the reason for your post, I still disagree with how you did it. To me it had the feel of a personalized attack. And not just personalized, but a generally offensive one.
I am not trying to white knight for Moar. She may be perfectly ok with what you said. And if you knew that going in, I may just be the odd one out. But if games go in the direction of having posts like that I am done playing them.
I am not trying to dictate how things are run, but I feel a line was crossed here and am unwilling to let it slide. If I am of the minority opinion, I can accept that and move on.

Oh please. You guys have done way more snarkier personalized attacks than that, especially in the heat of the moment. At least I kept away from real personal attacks in these mafia games - you know, the ones that actually comment on someone's character, That was all in good humor and with the spirit of roleplaying. But if it offends you, then my apologies to Moar, and absolutely no one else. You may have a freebie on me.

For the record, while I have made some comments that I've regretted afterwards, nobody has ever come back and told me that I crossed the 'creepy' line.

And for the record CG, I count two, and neither of them being voiced by Moar. I'm sorry, but I did keep it PG-13 on a forum supporting a R-rated game, while playing a mafia Batman game, a world filled with cruel and violent situations. If I did cross some boundaries with roleplaying, then I once again apologise to Moar.
I don't want to sidetrack from the game any further, so this is my last post on the topic until Moar voices his/her opinion.

This is a pretty good synopsis of my feelings as well. I know it would make me uncomfortable if that stuff was said to me. If it bothered her she should report it and let orphan deal with it. Besides that I think we should largely move on and maybe revisit what kind of behavior is appropriate in the post game.

However I didn't expect to have to handle a situation like this so I am currently deferring to others who have more modding experience than I do for their input before I take an action in terms of the game.
Please remember that is in fact a game, and that although we may be just trying to have fun, that other players are here to have fun as well. If you are about to post something that you think may cross the line and no longer make it fun for other players, please refrain from doing so.

That post did indeed cross the line of what I find acceptable even in a rough mafia environment. Just creepy. I am offended by it.
I thought for about 5 mins about reporting that post, but I will not do it. I'm sure it was not meant as a personal attack and with that it is not banworthy. I do think there rather needs to be a post game discussion on acceptable beaviour in game.

I am terrible at writing my thoughts sometimes, but I did want to post once more on the topic.
omg, I am not trying to chase you out of the game, and would prefer if you didn't leave. You are fun to play mafia with, and your different play style normally makes the game more interesting. You don't seem like the type to try to hurt people with your posts, and I am glad to hear it was meant well, I would be very surprised if it was any other way. You definitly owe me no apology or anything else.
I also understand this is a forum for an mature game. I really only play mafia here, I really don't visit anyplace else, so I can't claim to know the tone of other parts of the forum.
I commonly say things I regret in both real life and on the internet. I guess I always want to be informed if I am crossing a line in real life or online, and so I felt compelled to post my position. I probably communicated my point badly. If I have indeed done way more snarkier personalized attacks, against you or anyone else, I am sorry. I strive to keep my arguments based on play in the game alone. If you have a specific quote in mind where I posted something offensive to you or anyone else, please point me to it.
