Baranar Question

Is a WW Barb with Dual-Baranar setup any good anymore? If so, would you think ill need much into dex?

*EDIT* Good for basically doing Baal runs in Hell is pretty much what I mean.

range is only 2, so i would say no. also, bstar's damage is mostly elemental, which doesn't go through the barb multipliers like mastery, skill, str, etc. so, even though it looks godly with like 600 elemental damage on it, it's almost ineffective in hell. i haven't tried it with ww, but i have with zeal and frenzy.

The only real use of those dual bstars would be on w switch for the pi's. Otherwise they are lacking the physical damage needed to take u through hell.

I had a titan barb why tried using 2 * baranar with WW. he killed quite fast actually. Alot faster then I imagined in the first place. I haven't tried making such a barb in 1.1 , but I think he'll work out just fine. The 200% ar and IAS make up quite alot. Not to mention the elemental dmg is always nice to have.

About the physical dmg , it's not a that low average dmg.

I dunno about you guys, I haven't done any tests for numbers, but it seems to me like elemental dmg on weapons actually kills like double that compared to physical dmg, aka 600 elemental dmg turns out to kill at the same speed as 1200 physical dmg, this is of course except against immunes. I would figure that dual baranar's would kill pretty well in a frenzy setup still.

How about DEX? My barb right now has 60, i feel that maybe i wasted 10, i can rm him. Hes level 30 some.

I was thinking WW actually, but Frenzy/Frenzy+Dual Swing might be good. Dual swing is hella fast with frenzy, but is frenzy any good now?

I'm making a dual-baranar frenzy barb. He is at 76 now and have 2 bad things right now: low res and low chance to hit. I think he is doing fine, aside these two problems. I was thinking a blessed aim merc to boost AR but a might merc could be good also. Shout gives enoughf defense, I have defiance merc (low) but I think I can do fine without him, so I'm considering this change. Biggest problem is low res on hell. Anya hell not done yet, and I have -13 light res... I don't know how to boost res... equipment is kinda improvised. What to socket in baranar's anyway?
Input thoughts are welcome.
