Bandwidth Usage?

So, I am thinking of picking up a mobile broadband adapter for my laptop. Now, the maximum usage is 5 GB per month, which is nothing in terms of web surfing, email, etc.

What I am wondering is, how much data does D2 use in a typical hour of MF'ing? Is there a way for me to track that on my computer?

Any help would be appreciated.

I asked the very same question to my internet provider as i have a 5GB limit and i have been told that it is the equivilant of 25,000 web pages.

I also mentioned this game and i was told that it was not an issue. the problems start if you are Xbox/playstation online and then it really eats through your allowance

i think that you could play this game for 18hours a day and still be just dandy.

Youtube and Iplayer also dont take that much up either. its only if you like to download large files from the torrents

ping will be more important than speed

d2 was designed to be playable at 28.8-56kbps

as long as your ping was under 200ms it will be ok


it wont hurt your bandwidth usage very much, as long as your not playing 24/7
