Baldur's Gate Mafia Game

Too often scum slip through by saying "oh obvi scum for the reasons other people gave Vote: Person" and leave it at that.

This reminds me
Vote 2: Caluin Graye

You'd better hope CG confirms your story.

I wouldn't see CG doing it.
And, kestegs' took the words straight from my mouth:
I don't expect he will, the story clearly states I visited drixx.

I don't get what you're trying to say. I don't think the bus driver counts as visiting someone if he switches people besides himself if that's what you're saying.

I will say this though: drixx/kestegs got bussed and is town. CG is scum. (Jason brought up points in is wall of quotes. Mainly for trying to discredit a lynch 2 thing)
As Fluboodle said "You heard it here first."
Since vote 1 and 2 both have the same voting rules... Honestly, I'd like to see these 'potions' played out. As for the name, Winston Morgan, or w/e, from what BiPolAR said and found, it's a low-key player and someone very likely not to be picked. Smart-ish for scum, but so obvious to everyone else it hurts. But, since information is key:

Btw, Pharphis, cG, coju, ghwaihir, and bipolar are all scum. You should lynch them all.

I had to do somebody, and cg seems to like to come after me.
Didn't ask, didn't see any reason to since in have to use it.

You said your potion lets the recipient know your identity. Presumably, it's to let them know you are townie instead of forcing scum to send a "I'm scum!" message to another player. You also said your potion can be used as a vote block. Not unlike a jailkeeper, your claimed role has a dual use with a tradeoff. Did you use it to hurt mafia or help town? It looks like neither. Instead it appears CG was targeted to ensure one less vote for you today.

Vote: kestegs

Isn't there a mafia role that can't be tracked or something? Ninja? Would that apply, not sure, but it would be a fair mafia counter to a likely p.h. Wouldn't it?

A Ninja provides protection against a Tracker or Watcher. Party Host is neither. I'd think a Ninja is as much immune to a Party Host as a Cop, which is to say it's not immune.

Nice.

Not much to say on kegs -> he had a lot of explaining to do, he didn't do it. the potion inn thing is ridiculous BS, and I'm willing to bet a lot that he's scum.

However, i'm not convinced of pharph being scum. I think his line of thought was reasonable.

I will sleep some more and hopefully stop being hungover - and then probably read the thread properly.

No one says they aren't going to contribute further. They just don't contribute. And you didn't. No further interrogation. No vote. No checking to see if an early lock was a threat. No looking for a vote2 target. It's like you clocked out for the day but you still have a spreadsheet open in case the boss walks by.

That's very weak and unlike you.

I'm sorry but my participation during the weekend is going to be miniscule, as the lady has her kid over and that spawn is clinging to my legs all the time. :) I'll try to get a thorough read in of the day and the last part of twilight later today when she hits the sack.

Again, sorry. :(

I did use it as a help town action, not real sure how you didn't pick that up from what I said. I didn't have any good reads on mafia since there wasn't much to go on. Losing 1 vote on D1 is really unlikely to actually influence the outcome of the day.

The ninja is just the only possible explanation I have, I didn't say it was a good one, but the role mechaincs on a PH are a not well known, and obviously Solar could have made up whatever he wants since my role isn't a standard role.

vote2:pharphis I thought he was scummy yesterday and nothing has changed.

If the town wants to lynch me that's fine, my role isn't going to be very useful now that it's out in the air, and I will likely get killed before the game gets to a point where it could actually become useful anyways. Sadly it won't really give the town much info. I guess it will show you that there is a busdriver and something going on that isn't explained. I could prove my role tonight/tomorrow if you leave me alive, but that's probably not really worth the risk to the town, especially since we have 2 votes today.

Aw shoot, I remembered wrong. It was thefrankiln who I thought was scummy yesterday, not ph. Vote still feels right about Ph either way though.

I'm also not real keen on Jason Maher. Not sure exactly why, but I've got a feeling.

BA,
If you had to choose right now what alignment you thought Goryani was, what would you say?

Probably town or mafia. Maybe neutral.

kestegs,

I hate to be the one to tell you this.

But, thefranklin is....

dead.

Oh. My. God. I just almost wet myself. I really hope I read this the way you intended. Frieken hilarious.

Since I messed up my vote oh PH I'm going to give it some time. Still thinks he's scum. There's a difference vetween mafia scrambling and townie power role scrambling Imo. You basically admitted to scrambling and said with good reason.

Vote 2: Pharphis

Just changed my mind. Hopefully that is legit. Phone posting blows

Plenty of time has passed and Drixx' blood is drying on the walls and floor.

Killer Kestegs has had time to respond....and yet zippo

I'm curious - what, if anything, could have kestegs said for you to not vote for him? The way I see it, anything he claims will be circumspect and unverifiable until we lynch him. And we have to lynch him.

Where in that post am I attempting to save him? I'm saying he needs to tell us his info or be lynched. I'm not saying we should believe his claim, either.

Are YOU busing him? don't worry, I'll still pull a Jerome when the time arises.

Will that arisen time be this game? This last sentence sounds like it'll be this game. What use of bussing does a townie have?

I'm holding off my vote until CG confirms whether or not he is restricted from voting as scumstegs claims.

Good call. Let's find out.

Vote: kestegs

I see no reason not to lynch you. As mentioned, anything you claim can really only be verified through a lynch.

As for my second vote, I'm bouncing between pharphis and thefranklin. There was some interesting banter between both of them and kestegs in Twilight. I haven't yet caught up totally with today so I'll come back to this. For now, just to prove that I can vote or not...

Quite a while ago, I made a comment along the lines of - 'Hey, coju is getting a lot better at playing mafia.' Please don't make me regret having said that.

I never tried discrediting the second vote. In fact, I was one of the earliest people to point out that it's a good thing for town:
Why do you feel that giving the town an extra use of its primary weapon to win the game is giving the mafia an advantage? The flippant (and ironically, most accurate) answer to your question is "Double our normal chance."

For the record, I pressured Jason Maher to see if he'd contradict himself, or if he actually stood behind the copious amounts of maths he was dishing out.

Btw, Pharphis, cG, coju, ghwaihir, and bipolar are all scum. You should lynch them all.

I find it interesting that you say 'you should lynch them' instead of 'we should lynch them.'

Just for the record, this is how the role worked when I ran it. Ninja was immune to Watcher & Tracker, but nothing else.
