Why do you think kestegs is close to a lock? What do you hope will be accomplished by not voting/locking but also not contributing to further discussion?

I don't think he's close to lock, but I haven't checked the number of votes it takes for one, yet, either.
I will likely vote for kegs (as I said and was totally misinterpreted or deliberately twisted by Pyro) but I wanted to see others post their own opinions. Too often scum slip through by saying "oh obvi scum for the reasons other people gave Vote: Person" and leave it at that.

When did I say I wasn't going to contribute further, or how did you come to that conclusion?

No one says they aren't going to contribute further. They just don't contribute. And you didn't. No further interrogation. No vote. No checking to see if an early lock was a threat. I didn't vote yet, but that doesn't mean I won't.

No, i'm not too into the game for the evening. Had a long week and want to relax a bit. I am reading and posting, though. I guess I would describe it as not going the extra mile. . . but why should I when there are effectively 5 people posting and there are still many left who haven't. i'm fine playing the waiting game, at least for the first half of this day phase.

As for the second vote (assuming vote 1 goes to kegs which I think it should unless someone pipes up with a better explanation) I don't have any prime suspects as of this minute. If I had to pick one it would be Bipolarchemist. a bit of OMGUS, a bit of "hey look, he seems to be putting in quite the effort to lynch me".

So more sitting and reading from me for the time being. you can tell i'm not ignoring the thread, though.

Simply put, you can't be the only person visiting a dead man and expect to get away with it. The semi anti-town ability is a nice touch. One mafia down.

I dont think a party host would be considered an investigative role, so if that is what Drixx was, a ninja killing him should still show as a visitor I think.

For this to make sense you would need the "ninja" effect to work on both the bus driver and the killer.

I don't get what you're trying to say. I don't think the bus driver counts as visiting someone if he switches people besides himself if that's what you're saying.

@ the room at large: excuse my newbness, but where is this information coming from? I know Solar told us, but I thought that kind of information ("was targeted by") was unknown to players most of the time.

In the mean time because he's done way too many posts that were "here look at this and don't talk about anything relevant." Too much BS. Too much wall of text maths that didn't really seem to matter.

Kestegs does seem like an obvious choice, but it seems almost too obvious. If we're going to be served up mafia names every night they target someone, it's going to be an awfully short and easy game. I'll withhold my votes for the moment.

Pharphis seems to be scrambling a little too hard after being called out. Lynch ahoy! Kestegs is a no Brainer. Even if he's town he's a no brainer. Based on the info we have no one should bite at role fishing and everyone should vote.

Not directed at me but I want to add to this. Kegs is in the unfortunate seat of having to explain what his role is, otherwise the town misses out on information. If kegs is mafia then he likely gets lynched, but if he's town then he certainly needs to give up at least some indication of his role, because the mafia know he has a role, and if he's reluctant to tell us then that just makes it likely they will target him.

It does seem like bit of a save. The thing that jumps out at me is that it seems like a very low-key save attempt, which jumps out as exactly what I would expect on day 1 and we were lynching scum already. So...

I want you three (Sath too, I missed his post) to explain in detail how my post was in any way a form of trying to save kestegs. I thought Pyro's post was silly enough, but then BCP and Sath followed up with no thoughts of their own. This is exactly what I was saying about the people who are going to vote for kegs: They're just going to float by and say "yup, phar was saving kegs, and kegs is scum, so. . .". Right.

There's more than 1 reason for scrambling eggs. It doesn't make me mafia.

Also, somewhere above someone said not to fall for the obvious role fishing. LOL, you mean by kegs suggesting bus driver? Don't you think the bus driver would know DIRECTLY whether kegs was honest or not, and act accordingly? *
*for those who can't read, this isn't a defense of Kegs but pointing out that anyone with half a brain wouldn't claim unless it proved Kegs innocent.
