Wait, 'torture' mephisto? An odd way to put it..

The hand of broc is excellent for a TC3 item. I actually get excited whenever I find a TC3 item because many of them are just so good for their level requirement. Rixot's keen is, I think , the only sword with crushing blow. The unique staff ( bone ash ? ) is an amazing sorc item.

You're also forget Bloodfist. It's an endgame worthy item available at level 9 :)


The progress with my kicksin after finding The Hand of Broc is actually a lot faster and whole lot more fun than expected.
Just finished Act I.

I got my untwinked HC sorc halfway act 5 NM, she is currently lvl 60 and farming NM Meph for some gear improvements. My second HC char after my 3 Stages Of Life Pally deeded.

Also stared a SC Trapsin, as the assassin is the only class I haven't matted yet.

I think bloodfist is not TC3..
The unique TC3 boot ( I forgot the name ) is also a pretty solid lategame item.
 
He died. My untwinked hardcore necro died. He was lvl 71 and just moving down the countess castle when he just... died. He had super crappy gear and red on all resists and that is what killed him. He was close a couple of other times, mainly due to cold enchanted corpse blasts. But I had no resist gear to speak of and I was hoping the countess would give me a Lum to make a Smoke. The progress until then has been I would say almost easy. With lots of minions to take the heat and patience.

He just died. Don't really know what to say. I feel empty and lost.

I need to start over. With a fishy again? I think it's my best option to make guardian to be honest

If it helps the deeds at all. My Martyr now does to much damage to actually hit anything. Pretty close to one hit insta self kill now, on anything axcept maybe fallen.
 
I was going to play d2 all night long on my overnight work shift and ended up instead reading reddit and the spf all night :( I am a failure who will never reach 99.

I need some suggestions though. I have been thinking a lot about how boring 99 light sorcys are. They have so many spots on that list, do I really want my final legacy in d2 and on this site to be with the most common build? With that said, I need help deciding what my 99 will be. I'd like it to be a build thats not on the list yet. WW barb maybe? Is that even viable for getting to 99 at a reasonable pace? It's like the most iconic and common build ever in the history of diablo, but I don't believe there are any 99 ww barbs on the list. Melee classes (tank/warrior/barb) have always been my play style. Why should I choose the easy route if its a caster?

So there it is. Give me suggestions for melee builds that are not on the 99 list yet. I need my name on that list. I can't leave here until it is.
