Anyone else get booted off

I just received a message saying that my username had been temporarly restricted?

anyone know why?

could it be joining to many games in a short period of time?

although it usually just gives a failed to join.

anyone else having this issue.

Well, the temporary restricted message only appears if you use some form of hack on closed b.net ( I don't know WHY i would know this )

any way, they temp ban for hacking, idk if they did a bot sweep and u had a hack up or if u just had the abnormal ping there bot sweeper looks for, but im pretty sure its a " 3 strikes and your out " kind of rule. my friend got disconnected 3 times because he used mh (map hack) and the genius decided to go a fourth time, soooo.... he no longer has his lvl 85 hammerdin :grin:

probably for muling or changing games too quickly

I never hack, and it happens to me if I am Xfering and moving in and out of games too fast.

I have a mule that's been flagged for almost 5 hours now. I logged on with it, tried to join a game with it and got a FTJ. That's all it took. Bnet started becoming unplayable about 7 hours ago and hasn't improved for me since.

thats common, just slow down a little when muling
wait around 5 secs between each action

and keep each mule in the game for around 30secs
and dont change chars more than 20 times an hour

thanks i think that is what it was

i was running cow games. opening them up with 1 guy and
running with another.

i think that is what did it.

Just like ffejrxx said. It is only a temp ban. It is very common in close bnet and it happened almost to everybody.
