So I take it we have to find the horadic pieces again?

Also, I think I am starting to hit some limitations in my character already.

The Hall of the dead has so many monsters, It could also be the fact that I only play alone, but dam I got obliterated very quickly last night.

I have trouble using the search engine so far on this web site, I do not seem to find what I am looking for .

I am not even sure If I have formed a question in my paragraph so far, lol, ok, how about this...I have a feeling it is starting to be my weaps again.

At lvl 48, does it make sense to run anything in normal other than baal at this point?

i tink u can skip the halls of e dead since u hv the cube alredi..
u still need to find the staff in the maggot lair n the ammy frm claw temple tho..
buy/gamble mf gear and run normal meph,he's more accessible n relatively drop gd starting items..
n get a gd act 2 nightmare mercs..they oso can be of great help..

Let me clarify the guy above me:

Yes, you have to get the horadric pieces again except for cube.

If you get decimated, try getting an act2 merc and equip him with a big poke stick and some armor (unless you already have a merc).

If you play on realms, try joining act 2 quest games.

What is the highest character level items that meph can drop in Normal.

I got some good magic find items already, and have been using them when running meph, shenk, and the guy to the north of him. Seems to me that these guys are not dropping any items that would benefit my level.

Curiously, what character/build are you playing? I just can't imagine being level 48 and struggling in NM Act 2. You may just be moving too aggressively and getting mobbed as a result. If you are using "gear as you go" and haven't had a few lucky drops, you will need to be slow and steady until then.

For magic find use the magic find gear, for questing no. For questing use equip with high resists, high defense and high damage, IIRC you were playing a WW barb? Check some of the guides and be carefull how you distribute your skill points and atribute points. You may be low on life too. Remember life leech and mana leech are your friends. The same goes for the merc, but he only benefits from life leech.
Your weapons are very important, allways look for high damage and speed weapons, you should allways be in search of better ones even if you are ok with the ones you are using at a certain stage.

Unless internet garble is serving as some kind of pidgin, I doubt it.
