when i try to access one of my mule accounts i get the message

LOGIN ERROR
YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEN CLOSED.
(8)

anyone knows what that means ?
all other accounts works , ~50 of them...
i dont cheat , i have never played with those chars from that account , it hasnt expired and so on :/

Ok, guys, I get the same error. And I have no freakin' idea why? I'm not using any cheating software whatsoever.

The only thing I can think about is that I'm using three copies of the game (open char, change windows profile - log onto other char, etc). But as far as I know that isn't illigal.

I don't understand what the [highlight]deleted[/highlight] is going on?! Am I carrying a duped (traded) rune?!

my two main accounts appear to be gone... -sigh!-

yep just happened to me. hopefully the thread i just put in the wrong forum will arrive here soon :) (thanks poops)

since i dont have any 3rd party progs running and dont use d2loader and have legit copies of the game, there is clearly something going wrong with blizzards detection software

I don't know.. According to bnet, the chances of you being falsely banned is REALLY, REALLY, rare and low. and right now, there's alot of people of people claiming, "I didn't use anything" which is obvious.. ahem.. I'm just saying that.

Just for the record I was using d2loader.

Also had the account and character name BNETREP heh. No possibility of dupes because I just restarted and had nothing except what I had found.

If its an issue with loader that means I will have to go through a bunch of crap now to play more then 1 cd key at a time :(

sure , i use a loader , i have done that for years(before LoD came)
only reason is to be able to play with several installs on one computer(and save the CD)
but all other accounts of mine are fine , ~50 of them
all four keys i use are also fine , why ban a seldom used mule account
and leave my "play" accounts intact ?

d2loader is officially considered a 3pp. A great number, thousands, were banned for it.

There is now a conspiracy on how they just ban to get people from one game to their expansion coming out. I laughed

yah 3 of my accounts got closed, only 3pp i use is d2loader

looks like alot of people got nabbed for this

I got 6 of my main account closed and 4 mule accounts closed as well. All I used was d2loader.

Oh well, I guess it's time for me to quit d2. Lol.

all my keys still work... , why don ban them too , and why only a few mule accounts ?
to keep bnet clean , LOL , look att all the duped items/bots , there's the real problem...

wonder how long the accs will be "closed" , i want them back , even if they are empty
it ruins my organisation not to have them^^

they've banned people for using a muling application when they have not provided one or a system to safely mule!

Yup i just got banned too, only used d2loader.... ridiculous that they are banning me just for playing basically. Only reason i used d2loader was so i could play on both accounts at the same time and rush myself ect... really nothing wrong with that.. if i had a laptop i wouldnt have even needed it.

Im suprised tho, it took them 2 days to ban me.. which is retarted as well.. i played yesterday all day without d2loader and then logged on today and i was banned.

2 accounts... godly hammerdin, smiter and lite sorc... all lost.. plus tons of other really good crap... godly barb, good zons and necro and druid.

Really depressing that they actually are banning for this. Im sure tons of people have lots their accounts by now.

you can use atma in sp but online you need to rely on faceless internet people or risk r/d or tempbans to mule. Blizz should have created a system to move equipment between chars without all the risks!!

There is a hole in the d2 system- if you cannot safely xfer equipment someone will solve this problem as i said earlier look at atma!! How many years does it take blizz programers to see this if someone creates a third party program to solve this maybe blizz should listen!!! and introduce this into the game!

Bots and shop bots should be banned but who is still suffering from shop bots?
