Do their drops really increase with Player settings? Don't they always just drop 3 items?

Same as everywhere else, higher p/settings means less chance of no-drops. Surely you could have checked this from Atma.

I did, but I wasn't quite sure (I know ATMA miscalculates Countess drop odds). So they can drop less than 3 items? Guess I just haven't been attentive.

They can drop less than 3 items.

Increasing the players setting decreases the odds of that happening (as San said).
