Ok, been searching for screenshots of runes as I have a bit of a gap to fill..

Aug 7 2017 - The Sin War (my rune stash stood at 8x Gul + 1x Ohm)
Now, it looks like this..

Not sure if this was included in the 8x Gul from Sin War pic or not..

Actually, I think that Ohm is the one included in the prize pool for The Sin War.. I'll go forward from this point.

Edit: I'm certain of it, because the screenshot after the Ohm find is the screenshot of prize pool. ;)

Well this was unexpected:
Code:
Blood Horn
Balanced Knife
Throw Damage: 22 - 43
One Hand Damage: 3 - 32
Quantity: 108
Required Level: 48
Required Dexterity: 51
Fingerprint: 0xc77dd230
Item Level: 86
Version: Expansion 1.10+
Unidentified
+40% Increased Attack Speed
275% Enhanced Damage
+2 to Maximum Damage
+104 to Attack Rating
Adds 12 Poison Damage Over 3 Secs (75 Frames)
7% Life stolen per hit

Though unexpected, it's definitely welcome. Would have preferred 400+ ed, though. Am I complaining? Possibly. That said, these will potentially see some use on the throwbarb after upgrading it. ...I really need to post sometime in the untwinked 99er thread. (Sorry everyone! Just haven't been an avid player in the past months.)

For comparison, this is the nearest equivalent on his person:

Code:
Demon Thirst
Winged Knife
Throw Damage: 75 - 128
One Hand Damage: 89 - 115
Quantity: 200
Required Level: 72
Required Strength: 45
Required Dexterity: 142
Fingerprint: 0xa513c604
Item Level: 83
Version: Expansion 1.10+
+40% Increased Attack Speed
230% Enhanced Damage
+166 to Attack Rating
Adds 34 - 92 Cold Damage Over 4 Secs (100 Frames)
Required Level +12

Obviously, the biggest benefit of this grade of throwing item is its best-in-class base attack speed. With that in mind, there's the possibility that it still won't replace my current main-hand thrower, because it will come out to be roughly 30% lower damage than the hyperion javs I have equipped. So even if I can bring my throw speed up 10-15% under the right conditions, my dps will be lower. The reason why it might still see use is if I need more longevity in terms of stack size. I prefer not to repair more than once per run; even with ~100+% frw, going back to town for repairs isn't ideal. I'm rambling now, but I knew there was a reason why I always have a couple psapphs on hand (no extended stash XD)

Code:
Astreon's Iron Ward
Caduceus
One-Hand Damage: 128 to 148
Durability: 40 of 70
Required Dexterity: 70
Required Strength: 97
Required Level: 66
Mace Class - Fast Attack Speed
Item Version: 1.10+ Expansion
Item Level: 86
Fingerprint: 0x849fff25
+246% Enhanced Damage
Damage Reduced by 7
Adds 80-240 magic damage
10% Increased Attack Speed
Adds +42 Damage
159% Bonus to Attack Rating
150% Damage to Undead
33% Chance of Crushing Blow
Slows Target by 25%
+3 to Combat Skills (Paladin Only)

Pretty bad stats, but hey, perfect DR :)

I might have found one or two during my bnet times, but it's still one of the most rare items in the games, about as rare as Mang Song's, one of my grailers (the other is Griffon's for some reason, just an "average" TC87 unique).

The rare conqueror crown was boringly bad.

Also note that my blizzard sorc is very, very close to L96. I'm extremely cautious at everything I'm doing! I think I need about 60 /p1 AT+Pindle visits.

Edit: 15 minutes later...

Not bad for a superchest that decided to drop uniques! The jewel is a 4/4 poison facet.

@zemaj I just wondered because your experience bar seemed to be in nearly the same spot for all of those rune drops. I wondered how close together you found all of them.

Yes. Getting a good map is essential. No, getting a really good map is essential. On a good map, it's doable, but hard to keep a constant pace, hard(er) to keep your merc alive, ... On a very good map, things become much easier, but more important, much more fun and efficient.

I first started playing this game about 12 years ago. This has been a long time in coming. Finally! :)

Also unexpected--not really what I want (hate spending 15k to repair one of these up to full), but undeniably a good time as far as throwing weapons go:
View attachment 8887
Code:
Gimmershred
Flying Axe
Throw Damage: 44 - 197
One Hand Damage: 50 - 194
Quantity: 112
Required Level: 70
Required Strength: 88
Required Dexterity: 108
Fingerprint: 0xf187006
Item Level: 86
Version: Expansion 1.10+
Unidentified
+30% Increased Attack Speed
199% Enhanced Damage
Adds 218 - 483 Fire Damage
Adds 29 - 501 Lightning Damage
Adds 176 - 397 Cold Damage Over 4 Secs (100 Frames)
Increased Stack Size

It's got a decent ed to boot.
They would be so much more palatable with some replenish quantity on them

Ayura is getting closer to finding all of the unique throwers/javs on his own. Three to go!

Edit:

D2 must have missed me; picked up another grailer:
