I don't get it, why ethereal?

Lower strength requirements and can be "Cubed bugged". If you do the socket recipe with ethereal armor, helm or shield, it gets an additional 50% defense! And the runes and base is not too hard to find so you can "afford" to lose the item when/if it breaks

Higher def and lower requirements. Might not be suitable for general use, but can be used on:

• Sorceress that doesn't get hit much
• BO switch for characters with <156 str
• A3 Mercs

Edit: ninja'd by @drmalawi, who is trying to implant an idea with a quote within a quote? a la Inseption?

Also, I had been hoping that creating the RW would repair durability. But, I tested it out, and not so.

I agree that CoA is overrated, but there are times where it has been the best option for me

@T72on1 nah, that's last month's goodies, I just hadn't got around to posting it yet. I'm letting the council rest, for now... Going to be seeing a lot of them here in a few, as you mention

Mind giving a couple tips? What /p setting are running at, and is that build the usual Travincal leap barb where the merc kills everything?

Player setting for Travincal is almost always /p3 as ideal setting, or /p1 if /p3 is too hard. Barb (almost) always is ww Barb.

I tried it with my ZealBarb for a while, and while fun and certainly viable, it's not nearly as good as a WW Barb. I think, because I never bothered rolling a good map .
