After shopping for like +30 hours, this is the best claw I've seen. Depressing to say the least. It's Anya who sells them, right?
I've spent a few hours and only managed to get two +3 trap claws. No extra stats and one of them also only got one socket from Larzuk. Trully soul crushing, I'm reconsidering farming the runes for hoto + enigma instead.

Even more challenging: Shopping +6 greater talons of quickness (x sentry/wake of x laying speed depends on weapon speed) and Larzuk adding two sockets.

Ulitmate challenge: Picking up ethereal ones like that.

Two of them, of course.

What a coincidence, I was just about to post this bad claw :) I think I was more excited about imbuing this claw, than I've been with any high rune I found. When I worked on my untwinked barb, I sold a +34 life Trap skiller to Charsi (..or was it Akara?), which I today regret so very much. Maybe this is karma paying a visit.

@Shuffleblast +3 Trap claws are very easy to come by, the difficulty already starts at +4 LS  I have somewhat changed my tactic. I need more HR's, so I spend most of my time in LK, which drop claws at a steady rate. Pick up the exceptional and elite ones, this way, you (hopefully) get both.

A well-deserved find!

I have an eth warpike, but no mat pike IIRC and I considered a spear zon as well ... but no, I will make a WW barb with a GPA. Since 1.10, all of them were using the IK set, so this will be rather new for me.

OnkelZod made it through hell mode now, my hero who is wearing a BotD GPA from self-found components. That ethereal GPA is looking totally AWESOME!

When starting him, I decided to make him a sword barb until he's ready for the BotD GPA. Here's a short summary of his journey:

Step 1: Normal and nightmare mode with some leveling gear. Easy cake with the usual stuff.
Step 2: Oath with a two-handed sword. WWing feels like running over enemies with a car.
Step 3: Fortitude. Now it feels like running over them with a van.
Step 4: Respeccing for a BotD GPA. WOW! Running over them with a damn TRUCK!

He's not good at MF because all he has in that respect is Gheed's, but he's killing everything with ease! I'm usually doing CS+Diablo with him. He hasn't encountered anything yet with physical and magical immunity so far, howerer.

Quite sweet ML ring:

Still searching for that Death's Fathom since last year's RFL, no luck yet. I really would have liked one for this year's RFL, but with cows first, I still have some time.

Wow, impressive. Curious to see the number of runs as well.

As to DF ... I tested a few setups at Travincal and didn't really see an edge when using DF. I think Gripphon's conclusion was about the same, but it depends what you are running them for and what's your prefered running style.

For the other targets the difference is probably bigger. I bet with your gear you'll still be fine though ;). You should run with more than just the Blizz Sorc anyway :).

Let’s take a big fat guess on how many Pindle runs that haul took? Maybe 2,000 runs?

My luck with Pindle has always sucked so bad. Nice to see at least somebody has some luck with him.

I don't keep track of runs when I'm multitasking with Pindle, I'd have to pause/unpause too many times. I also do some gambling in between to break the monotony. The haul should give a good idea though, I think the rule of thumb was 1000 runs per TC87 unique? But there's Find Item, so it's less for Barbs.

@T72on1 - That is a good point for Trav although I wanted DF more for areas. I haven't decided the character yet, plenty of time left for that.

The chance for a weap87 item to drop at all is 1 in 93, for armo87 it's 1 in 49 and I doubt that 7% of all Pindle non-potion drops are unique :)

Let’s take a big fat guess on how many Pindle runs that haul took? Maybe 2,000 runs?

With respect to the number of items, class-specific or standard, it looks pretty much like a heap of all TC87 items I've found in the last 3 years, with a few more class-specific uniques and bit of a lack regarding set items, but the ratio of unique versus set items is a matter of MF. There are 21 TC87 uniques and 8 set items in the game, so in that respect, it seems that the Pindle runner didn't have much MF, as the distribution hasn't swung in favour of set items. It doesn't change much until moer than 10% MF are used.

When assuming that it were 150% MF, stuff like Mang Song's, Astreon's and DWeb (which are among the top 5 most rare items in the game) have a drop chance of about 1 in 80,000 each. When also assuming that find item leads to 60% additional items, it scales down to 1/50,000. Therefore I guess that the order of magnitude regarding the number of Pindle runs needed for that is about 50,000.

Nice, another. I now will add to my profile that I have hotmuled it.

Code:
Gheed's Fortune
Grand Charm
Required Level: 62
Fingerprint: 0xf45c34db
Item Level: 76
Version: Expansion 1.10+
132% Extra Gold from Monsters
Reduces all Vendor Prices 11%
31% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items
Not sure what to think of this roll?

That's a rather average one, but good enough in case one of your characters doesn't have one yet.

I think I left out a BK CB sword from the haul pic in favor of Boneflame and Dragonscale which are not TC87's but are still rarer. Running with about ~750 MF. It's been 3-4 weeks since my last haul and I'd guess somewhere around 10k runs?
