Zerg, et al: I have one Um and one Ber left over from the high-rune 1.07 tests that we can use to test either SolUmBer or SolLumBer if you want. I'm on USWest, though. My rune stash is otherwise fairly empty, so I need to meet up with someone who has a Sol and/or SolLum to spare.

I apologize to everyone who got offended. the last bunch of posts were from my brother. he got my password i'd had it written down on my desk and he logged on. i suppose he didn't share everyone's entheusiasm. i just hope the hunt goes well. i'm busy with my band and school so i haven't been up to much diablo rune hunting. but i hope you guys find one, i read some of the posts and it looks like a lot of high runes are getting burnt. my bro's a real *** man

anyways on my website tomorrow i'm going to upload some guitar tab of tristram mostly for diablo 1 players who feel nostalgic... it's almost 100% accurate there's one part i wasn't sure of. but anyways for anyone who in the search thread is a guitar player you'll be able to tell me what you think

Regarding the West Mule acount---

I have been collecting 2 soc items to test... Does anybody want me to start picking up the 3 and 4+ soc ones? or just continue with the 2's? This is mostly aimed at booster or anyone else that will test off of these guys...
I am also trying to perm the mules so if you couldnt get on I am sorry i was probably in a mule game with it.

thanks to whomever it was who linked me to the Classic rusher miniguide, it's helped. I've got a lvl 24 blizz sorc already, so by tomorrow I should be in my mid 30's or 40's. Considering she only has to rush a player up to hell, and not through it, making a 'godly' classic character isn't required. I should be pumping out some nice runes fairly quickly sometime this weekend ^^

Oh, quick question, what's the highest rune hellforge can drop in hell? Lo?

I dont know if anyone mentioned this(too hard to read 120 pages all at once), but you guys seem to have some runeword ideas from Warcraft, well what about Starcraft? It's a bliz game too, and it IS possible that they have some related to Starcraft right? For example, Auir, iirc was the homeworld of the protoss or sthn, could be amn+um+ist/io+ral right? Maybe I missed something but was just wondering why there are only ideas related to WC and not SC.

(i just find the runes and put them on one of the chars) i think it would be better to keep that mule with 2os items until we get to the 3os item grid. Howeever, i intentionally left a few char spaces blank on that mule for just this type of thing. go ahead if you want to. Or i could setup a second acct for other stuff as well. either way, if ur planning to test is, then go ahead ans save it. much easier to sell than to find again.

i was told by some one who does a lot of classic rushing for forge that you have to kill duriel in act 2 hell b4 converting. just though i would let you know.

Hell forge can drop up to gul. countess can drop up to Lo.

well the theme of Ladder Season 2 is, When Worlds Collide, and it's really just like an introduction for World of Warcraft. so because it's the theme, people are mainly looking at warcraft for clues

Alas i didnt get any permed. Was just trying to. Got bout hour and a half on alfa_rune so he should almost be done.

I, like Andy, appreciate a clean grid, but those columns are just not wide enough to see the letters. That red arrow is annoying. Should have many more 'all's in that helm grid soon.

I'm asking for Orb donations (or heck, I'd even pay some Pgems or something for them). Or, even better, help me figure out some consistently successful method of finding 2 os Orbs. I've tried hunting SKeletons and Dark Rangers in the Burial Ground, Maosoleum, Crypt, Cave, and Stony Field, (in Normal) but I'm having little to no success. In about 2 hours of hard hunting today I found 5 orbs, 2 of which were rare, 2 plain, and 1 with a single socket. At this point, I'm considering using a bunch of Hel runes to unsocket a previously tested combination to re-use the orb. I'd hate to use up so many Hel's, but I'm not having any luck at just finding these orbs...

I have only 6 "cheap" tests remaining that I want to make, using Tir, Ral, Ort, Thul, Amn, Io, and Lum... and another 34 tests when you add Ist and Vex into the mix. Yes I know this will be expensive, but I think I can do it in the next month if I can get enough orbs.

2 os Orbs

The place I have found the most are act 3 jungle areas, where fetish-types are everywhere (normal), and act 5 wsk (nm).

As I find them, they will be donated, as I am working on the theories I posted a few days ago
