He was there, I just didn't notice him b/c he didn't drop a single thing.

I've only tried 3 times, he dropped absolutely nothing. Not even money or potions. The quest was done before killing him in 1.11

I got a key from the countess in around 5 runs.

I tried to run Fangskin twice and it dropped *nothing at all* in both runs. I wonder if it has something to do about Fangskin spawning near the altar: could its dropped items be falling in an empty space?
 
Yeah, that's what I expected. No entry in TCEx.txt = no drops. He's a superunique so should drop the usual 2 items + 4 potions.

Oh well, it's not like they did it to Pindleskin or something.

Good work NSX, very important we test out the new recipe to see if the new content is available to SP. Otherwise, well, don't think I'll even bother patching. I never make runewords and nothing else is worth getting so far.

thakns, maybe they left to put in treasure class... not a great bug btw...

The other key you cn find with nilataka and probably summoner...
 
I guess I'm pretty happy with this patch. I thought 1.10 was already pretty good in terms of balance and skills...no need to change what's not broken. Looks like they fixed a few of the bugs too.

I am intrigued by the keys that people seemed to have found. I wonder what they are for?
 
I wonder if there is a door that you have to find ... that would be a change to the regular transmuting recipe.

Good thing he dropped the key on first run.

So what am I suppose to do with all three keys, put them in cube and transmute?

Okay tried to transmute all three keys, tried in all 5 towns, nada. :\

That in some specific place in Act 5 Hell I believe, possibly one of the giant gates to hell thingys

Can you tell me where you have found those keys?

I'm not sure how yous them...

Try to trasmute than in this place: Tristam, Harrogat, Throne of Destruction.

It installed, thankfully, without a CD, but I lost my CD's long ago, or maybe I should try a different no cd exe?

Try doing that on all acts, if that doesn work try to add Tp tome
 
What I don't get is this: there are three different (new) uber monsters. Will the key recipe just spawn different monsters??

ps. Seems like we still can't spawn Uber Diablo, so still no new charm for us?

there are those three red portals in act 5 above ground (not counting pindles) like the blue one for arcane sanc wonder if the keys have something to do with them

Unrecoverable internal error. The game wouldn't even load, when I went from 1.09 to 1.10 at least I can see the d2 start screen (but click on any of the button crash the game).

If you realy found those keys on sp, there must be uber monster and definetly that new charm everones talking about...
 
Well, not sure if this even has a thing to do with the patch, or if it's just luck, but I figured I'd post it anyway.

I started a new assassin the other day, and she's up to clvl 17. I upgraded to 1.11 today, and took her out for a spin. Nothing really new to report. Nothing, that is, except that in about 10-15 minutes, 9 gems/skulls had dropped. Maybe that sounds dumb, but to me, that's a lot, especially for that short of a time.

I don't even know if people still use chips for cube recipes or not, but nonetheless I thought I'd throw it out for anyone who'd like to know.

*crickets chirping*

The cube recipe is definitely just the three keys, nothing else.
Unfortunately what comes next is one of those things that we can't extract from the text files.

The old Cow Portal recipe just calls the "Cow Portal" function when performed. That is an internal function which will check if the player is in the Rogue Camp and do nothing anywhere else.

The new recipe calls the "Pandemonium Portal" function. Who knows what it is checking. Could be location, some monster killed... someone will crack it open some time I expect. However, it may also be checking "is on realms?" :(
