1.07 Socketing question

Hey all,
I am gearing up for some hell-action in 1.07 so I am looking to socket the following two magic items (read-outs below). I am fairly sure the tiara is limited to 1 socket in 1.07 but basically I would like to know what are the maximum amount of sockets they can get and how to I get them ?

From what I have read on this forum, the tiara is limited to one socket. The tower shield can get 3 sockets, and grats thats a nice one!

I enjoy my +87 resist all tower shield in 1.07 very much, that with a little bit of mdr makes me invulnerable to elemental attacks!

Yup, that's right. The Tiara will get 1 socket in 1.07 (up to 2 sockets if the item is forwarded to 1.10+). The Item Level: 73 tower shield will get 1-3 sockets in 1.07.

I think the only way to socket them in 1.07 is with the Larzuk quest reward, there's no way to guarantee you'll be getting 3 sockets in that shield I'm afraid.

Just confirming what has already been said: the tiara will get 1 socket, and Larzuk will put 1, 2, or 3 sockets in the sheild (equal chances for each possible result).

Thanks a lot guys! So I might as well do the socket quest with my char in NM/Normal then? I think I will need the shield for A4 Hell for most chars (1.07 Lord de Seis anyone? ).
Thanks a lot guys, will get back when I punch the sockets in them!

While we are here, any ideas on what I should put in them?
I am thinking 'Sol' in the helm and then maybe 2xP.Diamond and 1xSol in the shield, or just all out resistances. Have an Um rune as well, but I think my Jalal's is the best candidate for that one...
