1.07 News, Info and Gossip

my goal in 07 will be to find Zod(s) and 2 godly eth chaos bases (+3 DS/15%ed/3ar)

but first a stable cowrunning java, shouldnt be too hard

Yes. Every gem rune and charm picked up, and also anything else I felt like grabbing. So I have a ton of sweet rares, a few tri res boots with MF or other nice stats, some great FCR tri res rings, filled out my slots with the best of the best. I am going to breeze through hell so easily it's gonna be fantastic. I would post up some screenies of some of the awesome junk I found, but I think I'm going to hold off and make a gigantic mega post. This is all part of a much larger plan of mine, and someday that post is coming.

I popped some other racks but the thing is I didn't find any racks on this map with stuff I wanted and I didn't tinker around too much with them. I'm really aiming for that balrog skin later on, and a shako and vamp, wizzy is a maybe if I feel like it later - it's spectacular in this version but I don't think I care too much because I don't really care about using it in 1.14.

Anyways, I'm glad I stuck with it because now it's over with. I don't think I'll ever grab another one of these since it's fairly similar to the newer easier to get version, and I don't use it even, except on one pindle/meph runner who I don't even use anymore. So I doubt I'd ever forward it anyways.
 
Just mat'ed. Bartuc in hell is the smarmiest dude ever. When you hit him he has the normal lightning enchanted but also releases a cluster of targeted lightning shots right at you that are like instant death. I think I died around 6 times, had to port back in every time because I forgot to redo my tp :/ I'm bad at this game, I am really bad.
 
Sorry, I'm spam posting this thread right now, but I was searching for the vex patterns and I can't seem to find them. Usually my googlefu is strong but I'm struggling right now. I know that Lo drops with balanced knives, but that's it.

Edit: Quhab + cuirass / Griffon headdress, found it.
 
You'd think that would be the first thing that showed up but I guess it wasn't. I was definitely searching wrong though, I was searching like "vex patterns" and junk that included the word vex when I shoulda been searching superchests. I knew that thread existed, thanks for the link.
 
It's not exactly easy to find 1.07 patterns. I went through the 1.07 thread manually to get all of the vex/Lo/gul patterns and ALL of my own screenshots to compile this. A few others have contributed some patterns as well :)

If someone started the thread a few years ago I'm sure there would be some more.
 
but you need 2 russet armors

one for merc o_O

would also be real funny to wear 2 shields on a smiter graphically

kinda like: yeah i dont do any damage at all, but look at my BLOCK XD
 
So, I am doing hell LK now. I found this map that had a shako rack right at the spawn, so I'd come out of the WP, teleport to the first building of the campfire with 1 tele, pop two chests, and then out to the rack which would drop a shako. Well I tried a whole bunch of different routes around the map but to no avail - a shako rack was about all there was no matter how much finagling I did.

So I decided to just pop in, pop two chests and the shako rack, and then pop out. 10 second runs. That comes out to 600 shakos per hour (sph). Which is a new speed term I'm going to say, I am going 600 sph.

Anyways, didn't take long for me to develop permanent debilitating carpal tunnel. However, look at what I got!!

Bam baby. Gonna farm up some more. I'm laughing my ass off about the 600 sph thing, I've been chuckling to myself about it since it popped into my head. Side note, I am slowly going insane from racking for a week straight. Expect a video of me going 600 sph in the near future. Gotta get more because why not.

Edit: I know everyone cares. Yes, I did pick up that sapphire in the picture thank you.

Anyone have a barb or skill calculator they can pump points into war cry for me? I'm curious if it's at all viable for cow running with either 105 or 200 fcr (probably not)... Also, does anyone happen to know if war cry has any funny behavior such as proc'ing "on striking"? Such glitches would be very useful for amp dmg...

Tentative build would be:
wep: 2x wizzeh (maybe 1 +3 warcies stick)
rings: 2x SoJ (maybe 1 dwarf star for MDR or mpk/fcr ring)
helm: shako, valk wing or +5-6 war cry hat
body: Arkaine's valor or vipermagi
belt: SoE (DR + MDR) or mav's (basically just FRW)
boots: whatever, doesn't matter as long as it has 30-40 frw and some other useful mods like mdr or res
gloves: magefist (fcr) or frostburn (woo mana) for gloves
ammy: could be lots of things, but probably prismatic crafted +3 warcries
