It's a bit early now, but may I ask what's the basic build for travi barb (gear-wise mostly), as I assume it's whirlwinder which shines there?

My end gear:
(most was gathered during the travincal runs, I don't remember how he started)

Arreat's (due to %target defense bug) (second choice is Guillame's)
HLW (for the FRW and skill)
Arkaine's (as soon as barb is 85)
Mav's Belt
BK Set (shae on each)
LoH
Rings depend if you want massive leach or not, mf or not, skills or not, etc. I prefer two BKWB (I don't need much leech, due to being always able to rely on rejuvs)(no RF - this sucks sometimes when you have to use Berserk for PIs and was hit with frost nova - but for WW is gg)
Immortal King's boots are nice for the FRW and life (and AR if you dont have arreat's yet) (WT are also nice)

FRW/Life/Dmg/Res on inventory (as soon as you start to feel safer, remove a bit of life and add more frw, until you have all frw, and remove res and add dmg) (add AR when needed)

Ias jewel on head or armor can be good choice for breakpoints when Berserking (but I didn't go that far).

Ok, thanks alot! Will keep this on mind when planning my barb. Let's see how long it will take when I start though, but yeah I did think about starting one at some point =]

Oh, and btw, are 1.07 pala shields like their modern versions? (block/def/etc). Cause then I would add sacred targe rack to my list...

Not to mention that 1.07 eth armors aren't good bases for runewords with high enhanced defense (like exile, fort, stone...) due to the way 1.07 eth works on armor.

I started a FO Sorceress this morning in 1.07, my first ever time traveler, and have leveled to level 11, just found the WP in the jail when I leveled, clicked my 5 stat points, and realized I had been dumping into energy instead of vitality. I've got 60 Energy atm, and about 3 levels worth in Strength. Should I restart?

I believe some people go with high energy with their first sorcs. I went with vita route and it's pain to tele around. Luckily I cubed 28 mpk ring so killing goes smoothly.

...so I would hold with restart and just push on, but maybe someone with more 1.07 experience can give you better advice. :)

I'd have to go back and check, but I'm pretty sure my sorc has 50 or so in energy. Mana is at a premium without insight. I'd just keep going, it's not a huge difference.

Thanks guys, but my OCD personality grabbed me by me shirt, slapped my face and said 'Restart!'

So I did, same same, a new sorceress was made this morning.

Have gotten her up to Andarial, and was even at a higher level by the time I reached the same place with my first one, and also picked up a Cleglaw's Shield to boot! My first S/U in 1.07!

Got all excited when I saw the green shield on the ground, was like YES! even if I knew I probably wouldn't be using it. It's a heady feeling, after playing so much in 1.13 and being able to twink from level 1.

EDIT: Found my first 1.07 rune, a TIR from Andy. If I thought A green shield was good, I loving my first rune! /Edit

Question before I continue tho: Andy quest drop bug work in 1.07? I kill her, report straight to Warriv and go East, S&E, that is the correct process iirc, but does the bug work in 1.07?

Besides, the only way to NOT get the bug in 1.10+ is to exit the game without talking to warriv (at all) when the quest is completed. Not a lot of people do this.

I believe I read something about if corpulants eat your merc's body, he's gone.

I'm guessing that's why Tyreal can't resurrect my merc :(

This happened to me as well. My best advice is take your merc's gear off when doing CS, or be very careful so he doesn't die.

I read that magic ring + sapphire (any from chipped to flawless) + thawing potion is the recipe for MPK rings and clvl 8+, is this correct?

Rerolling magic items in 1.07 works in a different way, items don't keep their ilvl (since I never tried, I'm not sure if they get ilvl=1 in the first reroll, or after some rerolls, so at max you have a couple chances for skillers with each charm - I would NOT spend gems in 1.07 for this). So, keep the ones with ilvl higher than 90 and forward them to other version.

If you use clvl=8 chance for MPK fcr rings is the highest possible.

Correct (technically perfect sapphire would work as well /nitpick). From clvl 8 you can get MPK rings with FCR (which is most sought after) so that's the optimal lvl for that. Higher works too ofc, but chances will be lower with more possible pre- and suffixes becoming available.
