1.07 News, Info and Gossip

From my Singer back in the day (don't remember which patch think 1.08, but was definitely pre-synergies) Warcry acts as a spell and does not proc anything.
I couldn't kill cows with him on Bnet in 8 player games, I would just run around and hork the carcasses for the most part. He was not decked out as well as you are proposing though.
 
This would be either /p1 or less than 5 players in the game. I just don't know how well the skill builds dmg pre-synergies. I'm thinking a secondary weapon slot could be a source of amp dmg if necessary. Looks like I would reach approximately lvl 25-30, probably ~35 with skillers.

I just don't have any barb mules sitting around with extra skill points
 
Hmm, I could potentially test this at some point, as I have one extra barb mule among my rushees, and I've been thinking about making a singer anyway. I just have to rush him through hell and level him first, and probably find some better gear. If it doesn't work at all, I can always forward him to 1.10+. But I have to rack that second wizardspike before I can finish the rushes, so don't hold your breath.
 
Hi guys. Haven't played in a week due to a business trip but plan to play a bit this weekend.

Quick question. Can Dracul's Grasp drop in 1.07. I found a stable vampirebone glove rack and decided to grab and few pairs for crafting and then started thinking Dracul's would be sweet for a couple of builds I want to play in 1.07.

I don't think dracul's grasp existed in 1.07. I've never read about it being mentioned but even if it does exist it's almost certainly garbage (otherwise it would be popular)

Crafting gloves are nice, though :)
 
Found a unique shako from a crappy shako rack (~6 teleports to it (campfire) and then back to wp) within about 80 runs :)

I'll probably try to get one more while I've got the rack before I return to my hunt for valk wing... Shako is just TOO good for 556% MF bp (highest MF in slot, 40% life and skills :o). Very very powerful for mercs.

I have been rolling maps like a madman to get anything resembling good at all now that I'm DEFINITELY done with shakos. This is super hard work, might be the hardest I've worked at rerolling maps ever, I spent a bunch of hours yesterday just rerolling, no forward progress only rerolling maps, and I think I got the next map.

Yeah? Yeah? Do I do it? Funs runs times? Since run times are much slower than my shako map, I expect to be here for quite some time. Only one campfire, 3 chests, and these 2 racks, 20-30s runs. Wizzy will be nice, allow me to use some different gear (like not a fcr circlet).
 
wizzy = most important 1.07 gear slot for rack runners and rushers, imo. It's much more important than shako or really anything else that I can think of. The only items that come close in terms of safety/efficiency are valk wing and arkaine's (for rushing). Of course, for MFing at act bosses you want skullder's + shako (also good for questing/general use).
 
Yeah I know. But I had the low breakpoint and didn't see much of a way to get 105 without wizzy, and I couldn't find a wizzy rack and had that shako rack. And before that I only had a skullders rack in nm and I wanted to be like you, so that's why I racked the way I did. It's not so important for me to get it done the absolute most efficient way possible (like optimally I woulda liked a wiz and valks first), but I needed to get anything at all to keep up my motivation. Hopefully that wizzy drops soon though, since I'm teleporting much more on this map.

Totally understandable. Maybe i'll have to stick to NM only for looking for a winged helm rack but ugh I love me some hell superchests
 
I rerolled maps maybe 4 hours yesterday 2 hours today in hell didn't see a single winged helmet. I don't think I am going to go back to nightmare to rack though, since I need vexes so badly.

I've been using wizzeh in 1.13 for years, so I knew in advance that I'd need the dex. It's all your fault ;)

Hopefully you didn't get the stat book in hell, yet.
 
I did. It's no big deal I'm leveling now. It won't hurt to get some more points in tele and warmth anyways. Already 81 so it's going quick. Nice break from racking at least.
 
Sorc just hit 15. My god this is slow. I'm sort of stuck on where to level now.
 
Push to canyon? do you have mpk rings yet? you probably want to reach 18 for glacial spike so you can kill multiple things with one cast (after some static spam)
