Nicely done. You can fight rogue archers with Blaze, but you need to pre-lay down some patches, the lure them back. That requires a decent level Blaze with a longer duration, though.

I think Shadow Bow has the best damage/speed balance. DEX requirement isn't a problem for me because I am always level 74/75 when I enter Hell, and I am unlikely to find any Shadow Bow before that anyway. Max number of sockets makes it hard to get one with four, though.

Indeed, and as long as you don't throw away the last javelin, you can keep it going with more arrow packs. Why does that work? Because in this game, a javelin is also - a spear. :)
