IMHO it's hard to get bored of efficiency if it works (like an 8/10 or better map roll). Just change the radio/podcast/Let's Play/TV channel :)

I try to base it on shape or distance. I got another SoJ, this time in a chest in Pit lvl 1 last night. But I'm just not getting anything new for uniques.

I keep running Pits, AT, Meph and they give me the same items. I never find any unique dusk shrouds or balrog skins. Mind you its all with my sorc as other classes are sitting at lvls 70-75.
I should probably keep running them on AT until they are lvl 85 and then MF with them for a while.
 
I thought this was an interesting chest drop. The ring was a low Nagel. Spirit Forge Linked Mail and Guardian Angel Templar Coat all in 1 chest.

You could always slap "a little" MF on those 70-75ers and run them up in Pit/AT.. This way they can level and whatever good stuff they find be bonus.

Normally if my dedicated runners aren't paying off, I'll take a break either by doing the above leveling or questing.:)

I never really pay much attn to rare rings, but this one looked pretty juicy. It's from 1.07, so not sure if the mods are any different. Looks like pretty high rolls all around. Correct me if I'm wrong, but these would be max:
+9% Life stolen
+30% Lite resist
+120 AR
+40 HP
+9 Min dmg
 
8% max LL on rings, but otherwise correct.

1.07 rare rings can't get ML and are limited to Wyrm's (+60 mana) and +15 STR ( of the Giant)...
modern (1.10+) rare rings can get 6% max ML, Great Wyrm's (+90 mana), and +20 STR (of the Titan)
...I think that otherwise, they're the same...

LK luck has pretty much dried out, but the difference from 1.12 is clearly night and day... 😅

As it stands, there's enough runes to cube up to a Zod (not that I want to).. Still haven't pull the trigger on those high-end runewords though.

Considering the options:

1. All-around general gameplay : Infinity + Faith + Enigma
2. All-in Werebearing: Infinity + Beast + 2x Dream
3. All-in Pitzerking: Enigma + Cham

@saracen85 If you think about cubing up Jah to Cham (or even know that Cham can be cubed to Zod) then you might still be a bit in that 1.12 mindset :p. I think most people that run regularly would never cube up Lo, Jah or Cham. And common advise on cubing Ber is that it's only viable if you don't have Enigma yet or you have every Ber runeword already.

Options 2. and 3. are fine for the gameplay they provide but they don't pay for themselves in terms of runes. If you choose option 1. you will soon be able to afford 2. and 3. no problem. I would think twice about cubing those Lo's into a Jah for Faith. At some point you might want a Grief (+ rerolls) as well as Fortitude for Merc and Characters and then you will regret that investment.

@saracen85 I would just make eni + infinity and play every char that use those 2. You will get more hrs that will allow you to roll grief, beast, faith etc. with those chars easly. Any other runeword that requires hrs is way less profitable than those 2 i mentioned ^^

Personally i would never cube up Lo and jah, unless i play some untwinked char and i really need those runes.

If you want to play pitzerker from time to time, you can easly use isted shako and trang belt. For casual playing you should go with highlord's and rare ring with fcr instead of crafted amulet and second nagel, cause it should be better. That will allow you to use chancies instead of rare gloves with IAS ^^

Thanks for the advice. For now, Infinity and Enigma have been earmarked.. It's just a matter of when..

As for the Los, yeah.. Quite a number of them were cubed up from Guls+. Now no idea what to do with them (Already have Grief and Fort, and I'm not really dependent on their usage)

Btw, no Grief rerolls for me.. I swear by "there is no such thing as a bad Grief".. :p
