I have been running the past two days after a longer break to prevent burning out. Have been playing Minecraft and some LoL in the meantime which was a lot of fun, but it bugs me that I still need 3 items for my Grail (both sacred armors and Deaths Fathom).
So I went for some AT running and have been blessed (read: taunted) with Windforce #3 and #4 within approx. 4 hours of running. Both 7ml and both doomed to never leave the stash.
I never found one of these back in the days on bnet and my first ever in SP felt so rewarding, it's a shame that today I didn't have more than a warm smile and some head shaking for my 4th one.
Didn't even bother taking screenshots, I will provide visual evidence of rare finds only -_-

Finally got around to make Faith. I wanted to leave open as many option as possible (for future use/experimentation), so I made it in [-10] base.

I'm at grail -9 ... Windforce is one of those 9 items. I hate you
.For the record, I have found Windforce before in my D2 career. 2 times iirc. One in HC, one in SC.

I decided to push my PitBarb to Act 5 to get the resistance scroll. Got an Ist from the Forge and then these boots in Act 5, which definitely belong in the close-but-useless-in-the-end category.

With infinity so close I can taste it, I kept running LK. After the SoJ drop earlier, I decided to add a couple more popables on the way...usually was minimum 5 per run (3 logs, 2 skeletons that were in the same spot along my teleport line), max 7 to 8 depending on location of random chests, This added about 5 seconds more to the run so about the same average time as a single super chest and somewhere I saw Gripp post that 4 popables at P7 are roughly equivalent to a single super chest. (before was 29 seconds for 6 chests, after...33-35 seconds for 6 chests plus popables) so it seemed worth it.

I did manage to find a map with a thresher rack...12 teleports from waypoint...well...fairly stable, thresher maybe 80 percent of the time...no eth ones yet though so I continue.
Then will have to rack a nice eth base for fortitude, maybe find a monarch rack for some spirits...major upgrades incoming
Definitely a believer in LK running!
Final shot, the run counter after I found the last bit for Infinity: 2192 runs, just under 20 hours...so on the favorable side of luck.

My level 67 Untwinked, HC, NM Sorceress, has made it to the beginning first two waypoints of Act 5. She is respec'd to Blizzard now and I decided to load pure MF gear on her to run Shenk and Eldritch on Players 8, for finding items and leveling up. During this SP Run, I have just started HC recently, this is my best character so far by far. She normally has 90/75/75/75 Resists and is very durable. But now I have 30/29/1/38 Resists, but I do have 724 Life(30 stats I haven't placed, even though I should, I just have low Str/Dex and know I will need a decent amount soon and I have already used one stat/skill reset.
The positives are that I have 252% MF with Spirit/Rhyme setup and 319% MF with Alibaba(LR+CR Jewel)/Rhyme. I have only done a few runs and in one run a Unique Ring dropped from Shenk and this fell down below him! Only have done a few runs and he experience on level 8 is decent, I just have to be very careful to not run into fire archers with weak FR and get destroyed. I will do this for a little bit, run NM Baal until I am sitting decent for Hell and then hopefully be able to get a good, short Mephisto Map to find the rest of my gear. I need to find a better Inisight Base also!
Since my NM Mephisto map is the bets possible map you could ask for, other than council being a problem occasionally if I wanted to moat, but I wasn't moating because my setup kept my resists high when I ran him. I am tempted to run Mephisto with the high MF setup I am doing here. I was getting a good mount of rare/set/unique with a lesser amount of MF earlier, doing those runs on P
1 and P3, so I wonder if this setup and being SUPER careful, would yield a good amount of uniques. I don't know though, it might be way too large of a gamble.
I hope I don't die.. I am used to softcore for probably the last maybe 5-7 years, but I do play SC as if I am playing a HC character and I rarely die. It is just the risks that 99% of the time pan out okay, but that 1% where bad things happen, that I am afraid of,

Soooo very weary of running Andy...still no golden short staff...got another Torch of Iro, and an eth Knell Striker, but she just won't drop Bane Ash... Heck, if this was the 1.10beta, I'd already have 4 +2BKWBs!
In an effort to keep a grip on my sanity, I've been looking for other little mini-goals...for example, did you know that in 1.07, the unique spiked club Stoutnail's ATD mod varies from 1-10? I now have at least one of each value! Muahahahahhaaa!!! Bow before my mighty Stoutnail grail!!! (Ok, maybe the sanity thing isn't working so well...
)
Seriously, though, I really hope she drops Bane Ash before I can complete a Tarnhelm grail...I've already got a 25MF and a 50MF, and about 75% of the values between...
She does occasionally drop nice charms at least, like this one (eth The Gnasher, too!!):
