Anything that has the 'Indestructible' mod cannot spawn ethereal

So no eth cranium basher, glad bane, gf... A few others, but not many, really

I'm glad it came up in discussion before I put in 20k rack runs looking for an eth GF.

But maybe if I chase a chicken to Bloodraven before I hit the rack..........
 
everyone knows you have to take the chicken with you into the Crypt to have any chance of racking an ethereal GF
 
Thanks Phar. I quess I'll stick to racking then, maybe Travincal or LK. Btw, which of the two latter yield more charms? I'd like som sick dmg charms for PvP Bowazon. :D
 
I've had no luck getting any runes better than a Lem from LK runs, but I did manage to get this charm that I posted in the trading price check thread:

It's only the second Shimmering charm that I've gotten. My first was a +19 allRes + 7 FRW GC that I use (and has been pretty darn essential for me).

Umm.. I'm not sure. council is probably the BEST target because of find item but I'm not entirely sure.= which is better for charms. They both give tons. *shrug*

LK charms won't give 45 lifers, though.

Second one this week! I vote LK for charms despite the yawns induced, I mean I vendor most +damage charms which I get nearly every inventory load, unless they're prefix suffix. I dunno how fast trav is at farming charms, I know it's good if you're pharphy gg barb. Trav is hard though, you gotta have pretty sick character to run it quick I think.

Edit: While I'm at the bottom of the thread I'd thought I'd ask for some advice. About the beta CtA, people use war scepters right? And they look for +holy shield because of why not, right? I found a +2 holy shield 5os war scepter. These can spawn +3 right? I've looked at so many war scepters it is UNREAL, and I'm wondering if it's super duper worth waiting for that +3. I'm not even sure war scepter is the right thing to build it in?

They can spawn +3. While you're at it, may as well get one with +vigor or redemption or something else that is also useful as a one-point wonder

balrog skin is just about the last item on my racking list. I've had some terrible luck racking throughout the past 3 weeks or so, but this balrog skin rack is friendly. I have found 3 uniques in 667 runs.

I had a question for you experts - what are the differences between rushing characters in 1.07 and 1.09?
 
1.07 means lum/ko runes and pgems from NM forge for 1.07 crafting!

Other than that, I have no idea if 1.09 is any better/worse.

edit: btw, I'm STILL running the same shako rack. I have no idea how many runs I've done, but certainly over 1500. Hard to estimate since I've been playing a lot less the last two weeks. I'm sick of this rack, though.
 
You have got to use Silospen's counter. I know you've done it before but it's really nice for rack running, to see how mad you should be at RNG. I run it all the time, even though I get up and do other things regularly like making coffee or pooping or whatever. I just want it to count my runs :)
 
I'm usually just too lazy, and I tend to play in 10-30 min spurts while watching youtube videos so it's usually too much of a hassle. Well, it's a hassle to keep the timing accurate but I suppose the total count would be close enough. *shrug*
