Tyrael's Mighty Breakdown - Item Find Thread September 2015

Heh. I forgot about the drood running animation. Goofy indeed.

Nice vex :)

I saw an LK screenshot that said 1.07 and I was 50% sure it would be a vex :p

Not bad prebuff for 1.07 :o

Too bad it's not all that important.

Just found a Shako from a rack in LK as well as a Jalal's Mane from another rack. I rolled an LK map to take a break from RoF. Two campfires next to eachother directly by the waypoint.

Campfire #1
Weapon rack: Fuscina's (hopefully I'll grab an eth kelpies)
Armor rack: totemic masks, grim helms, hieirophent tropies (jalal's mane x1 so far)

Campfire #2
Weapon rack: battle dart (unique has dropped but didn't grab - still need)
Armor rack: shakos, tiara's, ancient armor - Tiara's drop pretty frequently, shako rarely but I did grab a unique shako from this rack pretty quick

Weapon rack directly underneath waypoint: consistently drops ceramonial javelins. I think I have 3 or 4 titans that have dropped over the last two weeks. None have been eth and all have been very low %ed. I'm really hoping for a high %ed one and a separate high %ed eth one. This rack also very rarely drops cryptic axes. Hopefully I can farm a couple bases. They make great insights for iron golem.

So just to stay on topic:

I've farmed a Shako, Jalal's Mane, and a Viscerunt so far from LK racking within ~200 runs. All since 5PM yesterday. Not bad. I also grabbed my second Sur (first one was from Meph), a Mal, and a Pul. There's been a couple skillers but nothing to write home about. I think they've been for skill trees that aren't utilized often. Nevertheless I'll keep them for some fun but different builds I'm toying around with. As usual, my main priority isn't the HR's. It's the jewels, charms, and S/U's I can grab while farming LK/RoF. More importantly, I'm after the gems. I've gone through 300 within the last 24 hours rolling an ilvl 94 charm. I keep getting plain skillers and some lower level max/ar gc's. Hopefully I can stumble upon a skiller of Vitality or better yet, a perfect max/ar/life gc.

Lol, despite all my fancy Travincal and CS runners and whatnot, of course it's the in-progress lvl 80 Tornado Wolf who finds it during his second Pit run. Typical, really.

Now I've officially seen every rune drop. That includes two Zods before this, and given that this is my first Cham, don't really know if I've been really lucky or really unlucky. Probably about the average. Still, kinda relief to see this finally drop, now I can focus all my obsessive frustration towards Death's Web.

@MizzouFTW RE: CtA Base: Ideal base would be War Scepter with +3 to Holy Shield (and maybe point in Redemption but let's be realistic here), but first I have to find one. My options are basically to find a War Scepter rack in 1.07 or shop it in pre-LoD classic. Both options will take some time, so I'm not in hurry. i also have to get Ist and Mal, but those can be HF rushed, which isn't too hard with the simple rushing mechanics of 1.07. But of course, first i have to get character in 1.10a/1.10s who can collect the Hellforges. So, all in all, I'm still not THAT close to Beta CtA. But I'm not in hurry, I still have tons to do in 1.07, and it's not like my 1.13 chars can't do without hax beta runewords. It's still nice to get that Ohm secured though, since it's probably the most random ingredient of that RW. Heck, i might wait until I get second one, so in case I roll a bad one I have a backup.

Also, nice finds!

@pharphis Vex is the new standard. I'm treading that "not-sure-if-lucky-or-unlucky"-ground in 1.07 as well, given that so far I've only found one Ko, and there's supposed to be like 7 patterns or something. Could really use those for crafting. Wanna bet I find second Lo/Gul/Um before second Ko?

I'm betting 3 fal, 1 ko before next HR ;)

and ya I believe there are 7 patterns (6 listed + the one I didn't get a screencap for). I've got another ko to add to A4 soon but I'll wait until I get one more rune before adding it

edit: I wouldn't personally forward any 1.07 mal/ist runes since it's so easy to cube them from um runes (forge rewards even in 1.07) or to get them from forge in 1.10+. Plus, ist is very valuable for MF breakpoints and mal useful for mdr.

Ran RoF quite a bit today. No runes of note. However, I did manage to get a +1 elemental and +1 fire skiller all in the same run. The fire skiller will come in handy for a project way into the future and that elemental skiller will be really nice once my untwinked druid kills hell baal.

Congrats @pharphis

I'm farming for charms right now. I could use that haha.

I ran LK for a bit last night. No significant finds other than an Ohm. Amazing how that's not really significant to me anymore. I also grabbed a Mal and Pul from LK. On top of that, I grabbed 2 puls from hell travincinal and 1 pul from chaos. I think I also grabbed a Mal from chaos but can't remember.

Late last night I was reading some threads on Pindle running here in the SP forum. I haven't run Pindle in SO LONG! I gave it a go with 500 runs. I believe that I was extremely lucky within those 500 runs. I found a Stormshield, which I did not have. I also had a unique Ettin Axe and a unique Wire Fleece drop at the same time. That was pretty surprising. A Nat's claw dropped too and I was pretty excited about that.

Some things I'm looking for specifically:

Arachnids Mesh
Stone of Jordan
Eth Skullders
Nightwing's Veil
Death's Fathom
Griffons
Death's Web
Tal's armor
IK armor
Mav's armor
Mav's diadem

I know most of these are higher end and I probably won't find them anytime soon. It's just nice to have goals set to keep me going. I'm seriously considering a 10K pindle run. I can do a run in ~19 - 20 seconds. I had 144 done in in exactly 1 hour. I thought about ancient tunnels but I have too many projects going on at once to keep my attention on a good AT map. Definitely in the future.

My sorc hit 93 last night and I started crafting caster amulets. I did get a really nice +2 sorc/8fcr/17str/15 dex crafted ammy. I'm not at my D2 laptop so I can't confirm those stats, but the str and dex were both high. I'm hoping for a +2 sorc/20str/xx dex/all resist amulet. Not really too concerned on the FCR because I hit 105 with future gear without rings/amulet.

I also found a 20dr/27 all resist amulet while buying amulets for crafting. I was pretty excited about that. If I ever get up to 98, I can throw that on to help alleviate some of that Nihl issue. My last good find was a +3 lightning skills / 10 fcr amulet. Yesterday was a pretty profitable day.

my most frustrating find last days was a unique spired helm

(hint: it didnt had +2 ...)

but found tal armor and aldurs armor, making aldurs complete and for tal only ammy is missing

@MizzouFTW Just a heads up in case you didn't know, Pindle cannot drop Arachnid Mesh (and Tyrael's), so you probably shouldn't expect seeing that. AT or Mephisto would probably be best source for it, but that doesn't mean running 10k Pindle is a bad idea, as he can drop everything else you listed, and is overall an excellent source for high end S/Us.

I thought about ancient tunnels but I have too many projects going on at once to keep my attention on a good AT map. Definitely in the future.

10k Pindle is fine project, but it is rather easy to find AT map that can beat Pindle, but normally it depends on how fast runner are you. If we take some rather poor AT map with 5 bosses average and to compare it to 19 sec Pindle running, you have to run AT in 47.5 seconds to be equalish to Pindle, with advantage of farming Mesh and Tyrael's too + more experience. If you roll average AT map (let's assume 5.3 bosses average), you have to kill them in 49.9 seconds.

I'm just saying you might take first average AT map and farm even better than on Pindle. For a good map it might take a while, yes, it only depends on what would you seek. All you need is AT entrance inside 1-4 teleports to waypoint and possibly among first 3 rolled maps like that you will find ok. 10 minute job I assume if you just fast check nearby locations of waypoint if entrance is there and check in few runs how inside AT feels like. Okay okay, not 10 minutes, but not much more than that. If you are ok with average map ofc.

Barb is more suitable for Pindle cuz pindlebarb is hard to beat, while pindlesorc is not.
