I keep thinking about playing D3, but keep not doing it. I would be more likely to do it if I didn't have to buy the expansion I think.

I'm getting a little better at destiny, but still suck. I played a little bit of pvp last night, which was interesting. It's a bit dumb though, because my lvl 7 guy was fighting against mostly lvl 34&40 guys (max lvl) The first time I did okay, but the next 2 games I got only 1-2 kills vs 15-20 deaths. I think the dlc runs about $60 still, while the original game only cost me $20. It does add a lot of content, but that's a lot of money.

Haven't tried out the pvp myself. Besides the fact that i'm not much of a pvp player i thought i'd stand little chance as a low lvl char vs all those max lvl, great gear guys. May try it later when i get to/near max lvl.

Price for the original game was 10 euro's. Now i could go and get all the DLC separately. Which would probably bring me close to 60 euro's (i saw the expansion I + II for 40 and i don't expect the taken king to be < 20). Or i could just go the easy way of getting a new copy with all the DLC in it, which is....60 euro. Well, the "cheap edition" anyway, cause you have some kind of digital collectors edition or something which is even more expensive.

You should make a vid too. That way we can see how much you suck. Or not. I bet it's not as bad as you think it is.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention but i got my first legendary item!


Pff, nothing to do here. At least day is almost over. Got myself a new winter coat. Should've gotten one last winter, but by then i was too late. Don't know who came up with the idea of selling summer stuff in the winter and vice versa but they should be shot. I go out to buy winter clothing when it's winter because that's when i need it! Only by then most of it is already gone.

My main motivating now is to get better so that I can beat him if we play together. Real mature, I know!

I am so sick of Game of Thrones, especially after last season's relentless atrocities towards mostly female characters. That show doesn't have a glimmer of hope in it and it's going nowhere, just like the books. Even real life isn't as bad as the events in that show. Apparently what happened to Cersei at the end is based on a real event, but the real thing wasn't even close to as bad as what they did on the show. Ew. EW. GROSS. Blech.

I'm not going to ask for details. I am going to try to get something cheerful out of GoT, for GT.
Rule 1: I preferably don't watch movies/series before I've read the books. Rule 2: I don't read books of a series unless the series has already come to an end. Those standards already rule out GoT even before all the grossnes I hear of but which remains unseen. Bear in mind that throne can also mean toilet.

A lot of Game of Thrones is being filmed in Northern Ireland, and as some may know I spent most of my holidays there. While I generally visit The West*) most filming takes place in The East - the Titanic Studios (can a throne float?) and some other places. One of which was Castle Ward which I visited last year. We had a hard time finding the fecking castle, we kept walking in circles coming back to the stables. We eventually asked the way. We were told. I suggested signposting. The poor girl told us that they had to take the signposting down because of game of thrones. Turns out, dragons don't need signposting.

False Dutch pride: whenever a Dutch actor is in something international, our country goes bonkers. As a result, my provider tried to sell me an extravagant luxury HD subscription whatnot for The Tv. Because then I could watch Game of Thrones, on HBO, with our very own Carice Van Houten! I don't like her a lot - which is probably unfair of me and definitely down to personal preference, I'm sure she's a nice person and all - so I replied "Can I also watch it without her?" Appearantly that wasn't an option. I still have analogue tv (works fine for me, and not a dragon in sight).

Laughing at you is as good a motivation as any. I mean, that's what we all do here all the time. Uhm, i mean we're laughing with you.

Excellent motivation. And i say: no mercy! Kill him over and over again until he has some respect for us old people. (and then kill him some more just for fun)

Played some more tonight and accidentally found out that there's some sidequest i missed earlier so i started solving that. Got to lvl 30 now. Only 10 more lvls before i'm the same as about 98% of the others.

Ok, we're not bonkers. But media tends to be. UPC certainly was when they were phoning me with the idea of watching GoT with Carice van Houten. I told them I don't have enough snacks in the house to be hospitable to her aswell.
Then I seen in the tv guide, on several occassions, the movie Ever After (not the worst I've seen, since it features the likes of Timothy West, Judy Parfitt, Anjelica Hudson and the lovely Lee Ingleby ) announced as "with Jeroen Krabbé!"Yes, for 5 seconds, and then he falls off his horse.
