Yesterday just after posting the comment on your birthday i heard the song 'forever young'. Nice coincidence!

Work is going great again. Not. We're having technical issues between our system and another. And the guys from the other system are asking all kinds of questions that i have no idea what they're talking about. So i ask our developer to contact them directly as that is easier. But he doesn't want to because he can hardly understand them (because of accent). Since he's working from home i said he could also use mail/communicator. That way he can read it so no problem understanding, but he didn't even bother reacting to that. So it seems like i'm stuck in the middle translating all kinds of technical stuff that i don't understand between the two parties. WTF is wrong with people?!
 
Snow again, early school release and another mom owes me. So maybe today will be ok! And in about 2 weeks I go to Cali for about 5 mins, long enough to dip my toes in the sand and remember that there is warmth and color somewhere in the world. Is that cheery? Nope. More ponies please! I used to ride horses, absolutely loved it. Went drag hunting one time, came home covered in mud and sore from head to toe, but totally exhilarated. Kind of like how I might imagine my dream date. :p
 
Mud and sore can be arranged. The drag hunting ain't gonna happen. ;)

Read about some fun people had with the name of one of the people at the Olympics. It's kinda nsfw so i'll spoiler it.
There is some German ski jumper named Andreas Wank. Someone photoshopped a pic with his name and renamed him <I had put the name here, but all i got were **, so click the link for a pic with the edited name> and put that on twitter. And it would seem some people didn't realise that was a fake. Even in some Belgian program they picked that up.
And ofc there were some jokes like: "I hope the German ski jumper Andreas Wank comes first". Some other found it ironic that he just participated in the ski event that doesn't require holding a pole.

And to finish it off, apparently there's also a guy named Semen Pavlichenko.

Well he sometimes pushes me to the very edges of every human limit, but generally he's a good guy and he's also saved my life last year, so all in all, not bad. Just your situation sounds similar, that's all.

are you SURE you're not working with the guy I mentioned earlier? He told me a similar story yesterday, from the other end of the perspective. Spooky. You don't work in The Hague do you?

Ahh, work, exhausted mentally, then train martial arts and feel good. :) That's me at the moment.
Last day of the week, and I'm at work finishing up a couple of documents. Anyone around? I'll be checking back and forth - I do need to do something productive today.

MrsNix and I went for a walk and found a lot of dumped rubbish. As we walked passed we saw it contained photo albums, CDs, clothes and lots of paperwork. We took a closer look and amongst the paperwork were original educational certificates. As this isn't the type of stuff you dump yourself we think this was the guys partner dumping the his stuff. I did some internet research on the guy and he seems to be an ex-con with drug problems, so I took the albums and certificates to the police station so they could track the guy down. Interesting morning!
