Either way, mr happy face isn't doing any mopping.
Storm is really bad here, maybe the windows get blown out. That'll attract the housing companies attention. If I'm lucky.
 
Hmm...I thought white elephant was an auction thing...is it more like pirate bingo? As that can just be funny ^_^.

white elephant is a bunch of people bring gifts and you all draw numbers. Number One goes and picks something out they want. then Number Two picks a present or they can take Number One's present. If taken, Number One gets to pick out another present. I've done it once with an ex's family and I ended up walking out with a high powered flashlight. Everyone kept taking my gifts, lol! And i never used it. I left it in my car (perfect place for it as my car was always breaking down), but i never charged it and i think i lost the plug to it, so.... yeah...

Good luck, viv! hope it all gets straightened out! How long is it supposed to rain there?
 
That...that does not sound so fun. Though, kinda like pirate bingo where the winner can take a prize or trade it with a previous winner. There was one year where a bunch of them were "fighting" over a pack of soda, every time one of them won, they ran to get a random prize to trade for whoever had the soda at the moment. Cannot remember who ended up with it, but after that they stopped with the pirate version and just went with regular =X.
 
Because they were kids and it was Coca Cola? :dontknow:

I was just sitting back and enjoying the show ^_^.
 
Or they had soda/sugar addictions early on? Maybe did not get to drink much of it? Not like it was a few cans, more of 12 or more? :dontknow:

Thinking back, not many of the adults traded, one or three tops =P.

I didn't drink much soft drink as a child, mostly just on special occasions. I now drink a lot more....

same here. Mom allowed us to have it whenever we went out or were at a birthday party, but we were to drink Kool-Aid or water and then soon it came to just water. soda didn't happen until later.

My mom was cheap is a lot of it, but she also hates soda, I don't think I've ever seen her drink it.
