Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

@Flubb: What's the point of self voting? You say you're town and not the VI (Jesters/VIs tend to be unaligned anyway). Yet voting for yourself is a silly move for the town.

Flubb's hasn't gotten a VI role. In this case VI just means the idiot in the game wasting our time.

Voting for yourself is NEVER a good option, it just makes you look stupid and if you ARE townie like you claim, then why wouild lynching you be a good idea? Sounds like scum to me!

Unvote: Sath
Vote: Flub

Just cause it's stupid doesn't make him scum.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

I apparently didn't hit the + button, but I remember being asked by Sath who I suspect.

Honestly my 2 main suspects are gone. Other suspects include corax back from day 1 when he was vote switching like crazy. Malevolent has acted oddly, kinda been all over. But then again that could be a personality thing.

The biggest one I have right now is flubb, specifically for the self vote. Seems like a "Look at me, I'm so sure I'm innocent I will vote myself" ploy.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

How am I twisting your words? You said yourself that you would have voted for Drixx if you didn't have your "inside knowledge." I do not have your inside knowledge, and at the time did not trust your claim. I'm not going to back down on what I thought was an obvious mafia player because one person makes an unsubstantiated claim. Claims like that need to be verified, as yours now has. Just because you say something to be true doesn't mean it is, until it is verified in some manner.

Well all you had was my word indeed, but also a partial role reveal. Why would I do that and bring that much attention to both myself and a another person if we were both mafia? Others seems to think that for now that was good enough, but you kept pushing. Now if things had been different and there was no connection (thus no partial reveal) then this would've been a whole different story. I figured you'd understand what I meant without explaining it in detail in my previous post.

Why do we have to ask you questions? Why can't you simply volunteer whatever information you're willing to share, and leave it at that? If you don't want to role claim, that's fine, I can respect that. By why do we need to go fishing for whatever nuggets of info we can get out of you? Why not simply say - "Here's all that I know, make use of it as you can."

No, I urge you to keep your information to yourself unless it directly leads to us catching scum, or preventing the lynch of a vital townie.

People said they wanted to ask me questions at end of D2. So I was surprised no one asked anything when I survived the night. In fact I was kinda shocked since both me and Drixx survived. But I see all of you guys reasoning now.

I will for now. Something's been bothering me though. There's a chance I can die if we go off of the information someone posted earlier. We can't confirm it, but apparently there's a mafia role blocker in the game. So there's a chance mafia could still get me, even if protected. Which is why I'm leaning strongly towards role claiming towards the end of the day.

The chance of that is pretty remote. They would have to know the person who may or may not be protecting you, and if they know that, then they're simply going to use the night kill instead.

I wouldn't stress over it right now. Later on it's something to consider, but I think you're pretty safe for now.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

woah, it's such a refreshing feeling not having to read through ~12 pages of posts. With 4 hours left in the day, I'll have to traverse the thread quickly scanning a few characters closely. I'll plow through a few names and see what I come up with (I'll try to compile a "central intelligence post" with whatever I get.

I am not tossing my vote for anyone just yet. Right now, it's time to get to work.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

That's what I've not been able to keep up with. And I'm at my brothers place, so not enough time to check all the votes. However I'll make sure to check in every once in a while to reply and place my vote.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

I'll galdly switch if a viable train starts.

--------------> 3+ hours left

I'm still not thinking Sathoris

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Vote tallies to the best of my reading:

Sathoris: 1
Malevolent: 1
corax: 4
Asrrin: 1
flubbucket: 4

This is 11 which would be a lynch. Less than 3 hours left...

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Can someone refresh me as to why Corax is under fire? Other than being a lurker? I'll vote for him to lock a lynch, but I'd feel better if I knew there was more to it than lurking.

I am not feeling a flubbucket lynch at the moment. He was one of the first people to get post restricted, and I've not seen any major scum tells from him. If anyone can point them out, I'm all ears.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Have you made a single original case against anyone this game, or are you intentionally just voting for people that other people have already done the legwork on?

And just why exactly did you come off of zemaj's lynch, claiming "I don't know why I voted for him in the first place"? Was it because you were originally okay with bussing your mafia buddy when you didn't think the lynch would go off, but had a pang of remorse? Or just trying to sabotage the lynch?

In my experience, those who celebrate the lynch of a mafia are in fact mafia trying to act like a townie.

Vote: coju

I could also be persuaded to vote on flubbucket, mainly for these posts -

On top of the fact that he seems to be posting a lot with very little actual content.

He seemed to be jumping around quite a bit on day one and then just disappeared as far I remember for day 2.

I assume this plus the quotes means that CG didn't unvote coju, so his vote on flubb doesn't count.

I still think flubb or corax are good options for today.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

I think lack of a good target is the main reason corax is being targeted. I don't feel good about a flubb lynch today, I see an ulterior motive lying somewhere. He has said little to be deemed scum and lynching him will likely prove nothing except for a voting history unless he is actually scum.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Corax is in the cross-hairs, for his weird voting behavoir day 1, and lurkyness.

Flubb is being voted for because he said "I'm town" before placing his vote on himself. He has self-voted him self before too during D2 (#564). I'm not sure why he doesn't just hold his vote on nobody rather than on himself.

I could lynch ethier one of them as neither are being a major help to the town. Although I'm more inclinded towards Flubb now, the more I think about it, the more I think he's self vote has some underlying misdirection under it. Espically as he's done it twice.

Unvote
