Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Don't mean to "ruin" this argument, but during night phase 2, two people died. Well technically, just one, but the kidnapping of Leo means there was not a save. With that said, Ankeli just moved extremely high on my scum list. Chances are Asrrin isn't a scum, because he targeted TC that night and TC is still alive and kicking.

I say we lynch Ankeli next after noodle.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

TC, don't let these guys sway you, stay on top of your game! With the info about Goryani though, it feels borderline useless in terms of raising our lynch chances today.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Look at it this way CoolguyBad, if I die tonight and I hadn't shared the information, it would have been lost forever.

Well, what I meant is Ankeli trying to sway the vote to Asrrin and/or cause another no lynch. Right now we need literally every townie to vote for the right cause, and Noodle seems like the closest to a lynch right now. If Ankeli sways even two or three people, it will cause another no lynch.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

I agree that lynching Noodle gives us next to no info as he has not interacted much in any meaningful way this round. I have never been able to "read" Noodle and so all I have is an unknown percentage chance of him being scum. The only thing that tells against him is that he appears unconcerned about getting lynched, which at this point in the game is about as anti-town as you can get.

Ankeli screams Mafia to me. I have seen him apply pressure to the town when he has been town-aligned, trying to push an agenda which I had no reason to doubt was bona fide. This time, the pressure is being applied but his agenda feels just plain wrong - disasterously so.

Reality check - we have "up to five mafia" still in the game. If we have a SK as well, that is six anti-town players. Unless a lot of folks have been targeted and saved/protected so far,we should have been seeing up to three deaths on "kidnapper days" and two on the others, given 2 mafia factions. My gut tells me there might be one mafia faction only, can anyone reassure me that this isn't necessarily so?

Noodle needs one more vote for a lock, by my count. Are we sure we want Noodle swinging instead of Ankeli or one of the other "semi-lurkers"?

I shall be bringing this round up in future games of mafia - lynching lurkers (nods to ThunderCat) instead of having no-lynching days may have helped us in this game :whistling:

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

I'd still like to give Noodle a chance to claim until this end of this half of the phase (4 hours left). Which will leave us with 24 hours to decide if he should be offed this day or the next.

I agree that lynching him is the best solution, but we should give him a chance to defend himself before locking.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Re: my activity - this has been a difficult game for me to keep up with, due to real life commitments (such as the all day meeting I had Wednesday), and the fact that my role has been significantly changed twice by Uraj. Read into it what you will. TC, I assume you are the investigative journalist? My latest role has been the journalist intern, with the ability to conduct a night investigation with a 50% chance of success. (Hey, I'm only an intern.)

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Vote: Ankeli

I thought he was mafia yesterday, and I'm going to go with my gut. I think Ash is mafia also.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Word of warning: anyone locking Noodle before we have had a chance to explore his claim is de facto mafia in my mind.
I don't even want to read, "Duh, didn't preview" or "Oh, this blasted phone!" ;)

If Noodle is telling the truth, we have something of a firm-ish list of mafia to work with. All we need to agree on then is the order we lynch in

Preview edit: Bad Ash, you couldn't resist, could you, not even to save yourself? :whistling:

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Wait, that's a lock? I'm be serious even if he is anti town I didn't know that was a lock. journalistic intern is as. weak as it gets and ITS NOODLE. How could I not vote for him in this situation

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Posting my list of mafia now:
Bad Ash
Technomancer
Sathoris
Ankeli

Coin toss:
Asrrin
Zarniwoop (who claims not to be anti-town or neutral, and that he will never false-claim, but still ...)

And this ladies and gents, is why Noodle is scum. TC has several times verified his role. Noodle acknowledges that he's been lurking and hasn't been reading the thread, both scum moves, and he tried claiming with a really lame role. I can't possibly see how Noodle would be anything but scum.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

EDIT: TC has revealed his role, not verified, though he's been verified as town by Mara.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

TC will probably have to confirm his actual role name now.

My suspicion is that TC has some news for us. And if my suspicion is right, I applaud his actions on behalf of the town in this respect. Nicely played

Not sure what you mean by that, because he already did here:

Right then, with 6 votes on me, the only thing I can do is claim. I was avoiding this as it would prevent me from exercising one of my game strategies, but I have no other options.
I am the Coroner. Each night, I am able to perform investigations on the dead bodies revealing their role, alignment and possibly some of the actions they have taken up to the point of their death.
My only successful investigation thus far was on Feysal. It seems Feysal was, to my surprise after reading Valhauros' mod kill message from uraj, a Cityslicker. Aligned with the town.
I understand the fact that the town needs a lynch and respect that. However, remind me the next time I play to lurk for the first few days. All I did was try to actually do something. Lynch the active guys and let the lurkers survive.

And If TC was lying about that (which I guess is what you mean?), he mentioned that he could speak with Leo, who was of the same role as he was. So if you are trying to say that TC and Noodle are the same role, how come Noodle didn't mention he could communicate with TC?

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

I'm not suggesting that Noodle is aligned with TC, I am waiting for TC to confirm that he is either exactly what he said he was, or is something similar, but different.
If TC was definitely the Coroner, then Noodle is making an uncharacteristically weak and unbelievable claim. If TC had a role which he could call the Coroner role, as it is similar, but was in fact something else, like say a Journalist, then Noodle's claim makes sense.
TC could false claim Coroner to throw off the mafia, but this is all highly speculative. I only bring it up because of Noodle's prima facie weak claim.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Edit extra: TC has been slightly cagey with his role specifics since he claimed, I was wondering whether it could be something like this.
