Sorry I got confused with the day and night I thought it was 4 citzens with 5 people in town. thought i had found something there.

Just doing what this roleclaim is meant to do. So your role says stranded citizen? That can't be true because A) it says survivor and B) You can't be a citizen. You're either a civilian, scavenger, engineer, soldier or scientist. What would be your role if you got scouted?

Unless someone else is being expressly called a citizen in their role or any civilian says they're adressed as civilians you're trying to mimic a town role but failed.

Also, this 'pass the roleclaim' idea might move to slow to get all the claims and get a lynch by the end of the day. But let's see for now.

This is exactly why we SHOULDNT roleclaim. There is no way to debunk the liars! All roleclaiming will do will give the mafia zombies fodder for the night.

If I was mafia I would say "stranded, scout" who is going to debunk that or know if I am lieing or telling the truth.

I propose this: Roleclaim and say you are IN the town or OUT of the town.

That way we will play the odds. The mafia will have to choose who to kill from the people in the town and we can cross our fingers and hope they pick a civilian.

I am not even very comfortable with that idea but am way higher on it than a massive role roleclaim

It could be a tactic by the mafia to get people to claim so they can prioritize targets.

Sathoris could be trying to pick out a target for tonight. Then again he could be town and trying to weed out potential zombies...I don't know.

That's an epic letdown, both Leo and ITY turning up townie. I was convinced Leo was mafia, and was hoping that getting that first mafia lynch would have giving us the momentum. ITY was frustrated because he was trying to get recruited to replace Uraj, but I was unknowingly thwarting his efforts by throwing suspicion on him.

I'm was burned by being too aggressive and I suspect that the mafia team is profiting from a laid back approach. They are letting the townies create conflict amongst themselves while they sit back and quietly contribute to a lynch if needed. Sath and Asrrin pushed on Val, Thy was convinced about Ankeli and I railroaded Leo and was probably one of the reasons for ITY quitting.

Nurman was the scientist inside the fort, as you can see by the town count. In all probably, he was researching the zombie antidote, IMO the only worthwhile research given with the role. The research would have been done in the middle of today but we probably wouldn't get the results until the end of the day. When Sath was trying to press for his lynch, he made that comment to lynch him the next day, and that reaffirmed to me that indeed, he was researching it and the mafia team must have seen that too since they NK'd him. My worry is that he would have submitted his night action during the night but the story would have said he was working on his research during the day, but since he was NK'd, I'm not sure if he'll get the credit.

I'm Nicole Fesla, a scientist survivor. I was leaving role hints throughout the game about the role and the most likely thing that would have been researched and I was hoping that another scientist would have picked up those hints.

Gorny will probably do his best to trash my reputation. I know I have a lot of personal baggage that can be picked on, so I’ll have to do my best to uncover or come across some good responses. Some random OT about eating at Subway probably won’t cut it.

We can now form a block of townies with 6 people. Knowing who to trust is key. If we don't roleclaim we're just going to end up shooting in the dark again. This way we narrow the candidates to five and at least we know we won't lynch another scout, or anyone inside the town for that matter. And we get a 4/5 chance at least of lynching a mafia. If not 100% if there are 5 mafia.

Already Gorny's made an apparent slip. Honestly, roleclaiming is loads better than any other alternative.

I missed it, I'm home early and working on getting my Addons fixed (today's a patch day in WoW and things are shot).

I am in the town.

With luck I'll be dead tomorrow morning.

Now that's a good example of the logical fallacy 'Appeal to emotion'. Usually I'd have Feysal comment on this, but frankly, I don't trust him.

No you bloody didn't. You claimed citizen which isn't any specific role. If you're in the town then say which particular role you are. (Scout, scavenger or civilian)

It's not as watertight, if more than 5 people claim town you need to know their roles anyway to find out who trying to sneak in and the scout'll need to confirm who he scouted, outing the scout aswell.

Yes I did, and remember what I said Zhao - if she turned out to be town, I'd be after you today. My first post today voted you for a lynch.

In the case of both lynches, I wasn't the one who started it nor did I push for them to be lynched, in fact, I had other votes and switched them.

I also seem to recall it being said that a lynch was better then no lynch, this is the chance you take when you decide to lynch someone and then suggest or ask others to vote for them..

Post #882 You encourage all of us to vote Leo.

You're the one that wanted people to vote for her and in effect, since you pretty much threw her under the train, you're the one that got her lynched.

Sathoris, I don't trust you as far as I could throw you.

I'm not a scavenger nor am I a scout. So that leaves one last option: Civillian.

If I end up dead in the morning, I'm pinning it on you.

I dislike bending the rules by referring to ITY's role PM, but did I noticed that an engineer doesn't have the option of building a school. So no training of units.
