Tell me about it! Rune-luck is my weak spot. I find stuff like Astreon's after 20 runs, but I still have yet to find a rune above Gul.

My rune luck was always pathetic. I did hundreds of Countess runs to cube a Vex and Gul, made a HotO, and promptly forgot to back up the character it was on. That was actually a big factor in my quitting D2.

Dew, please. For reasons unknown to me at this time, I have been super energetic the last few days. At first I tried to just ignore it, but my loved ones told me if I didn't find something to do they would shoot me. In my quest to stay occupied I have done all sorts of things I was putting off, not the least of which being a journey to the bottom of the laundry pile that is progressing nicely.

I can sympathize with that, when I used to play on Bnet about 2 years ago my account got hacked: 2xHoto, Nigma, arach, 2xSoJ, anni, torch, etc... all gone

I quit about 10 minuets after I found out, that quitting lasted about a year.

In non-spammy OT news, today I got accepted to write interview transcripts (unpaid) for a local Christian radio station. I don't enjoy the preaching method used in of some of their programmes, but some of the rap artists they have on there are very talented, and the music they play is far better than the tripe in the UK charts.
 
Evening all!

I'm enjoying the day after my grad school hell week ended. We had two big assignments due on the same day, coupled with the normal reading and work load. Needless to say, it was unpleasant. To enjoy my relaxing, I'm watching Clint Eastwood movies while playing some Titan's Quest.

I quit D2 a almost about three years ago now, and I don't miss it that much. I playe religiously for years, and then just stopped.I think that I got burned out on it.

I have gotten burned out and quit several times. 2 years on, 5 off, 1 on, 1 off, 1 on, 6 months off. Something like that to give you an idea, if history serves to indicate the future I think I am do for a quit any day now :)
 
I hjave never used Lbs as an abreviation for pounds, I always use #. That is probably because the only time I use pounds is when I am talking about pipe flanges.

I also get burned out of D2 regularly and each time I come back I restart untwinked.
 
Why are pipe flanges measured in #s?

I have enjoyed this untwinked restart, but my favorite build requires an enigma, so I'm anxious.
 
It all stems from the steam. Essentially all pipes are standardised and therefore are built to ASME/ANSI B16.9. The pipe classes are built to withstand certain pressure and these are called pipe classes. The classes are 150#, 300#, 600#, 900# etc. This rating is based on steam at a pressure in PSI.

Anyway that is just a quick explanation and I am sure if there are any mechanical engineers around they will correct me :).
 
Makes sense, I used to do a bit of plumbing, so I know what you are talking of.

I just wasn't thinking of it in those terms.
