Etdlahq Memorial Bar - your shelter from forum crashes

I recommend MinecraftChick's initial video's of her playing Minecraft. How do I move? How do I swim? How do I attack? etc. Very funny-yet-stereotypical newbie girl gamer.

I think it's kind of entertaining when my wife asks me to help her make tricky jumps in the LEGO games. I feel like it's the digital equivalent of opening a stubborn jar.

If women learn to open jars and program VCRs/TiVo men will be extinct. There's a comedian's joke, possibly Jimmy Carr, about how even though women can run sperm banks, men are still needed to open the lids to the jars of the stuff.

Haha That's pretty funny!

My son who is 8 loves the lego games, and he rarely needs help with them anymore, usually he just can't figure out a puzzle or where to go next.

Free exp is all well and good, but its a lot less enjoyable when you don't know who the heck all of the people are!

My brothers hate me, I can do anything in any game, given a try or two to get the feel of it. Songs on Guitar Hero, missions on shooters, whatever. I hand the controller back to them and give a smug grin, and they mumble something about how they could have done that or whatever.

Dew please.

Lego Batman is awesome, but it keeps working/not working on my PC.

Very true. It's horrible when you're hosting and you have to keep track of whose drop it is  Voice chat makes it fun though.

*dews Pancake*

Oddly enough, the smug grin doesn't have the same positive effects on my wife as it likely does on your brothers...

I hate people like you :coffee: When he's over, my brother refuses to play/join any game I have, saying he prefers to watch as a spectator while we both make smart comments.

This. Ten times.

Yeah, they hate it, but it is my fee for performing a service. The service is being better than them. They then perform a service for me, namely taken something that belongs to me and setting it on fire.

Haha. You're quite amusing for a lowly spammer. Dew?

This one is empty, so yes please.

Lowly spammer? I'll have you know I am a former winner of the Spiffy for Biggest Spammer. As such, I am entitled to wear rainbow bands on my sleeves at all times. You whippersnappers have no respect, no respect at all...

<slurs> I have lots of respecs! <points angrily> Do you know how often I run Hell Baal? I have more Essences than you'd know what to do with!

I lol'd.

Do those things stack up as much as I think they would? I imagine it would get old fast.
Oh, and I just heard they are making a new improv show hosted by Drew Carey. It is a good day.

I have to write an email or two real fast, can I get you anything?

EDIT: Oh, got ninja'd. Well, I guess that just means you are old. Plus, I am a far more experienced spammer, as you can see from my post count, so I bid you good day.

You can stop spamming so I can run Trav without getting e-mail alerts from my useful-but-oft-annoying Firefox plug-in?

Sorry Mr Kaysaar Sir. Won't happen again.

*waves cane at Pancake*

Now why can't you be more like Fast Eddie - he's such a nice young man.

*Sits back on porch and mutters incoherently*

You have an email alert for the Bar? Oh, this will be fun...

I'm kidding. But if I were to be a mean soul, it would be too easy. I'm considering going to bed very early, I did a pretty intense trainer session today that tired me out. This is because I finally fixed the problem I had been having with resistance, I think. I can't tell, first it was tough, but doable. Then it was too loose, and pedaling evenly was impossible. Today I adjusted it, then had trouble even managing the 3rd setting for an interval, whereas before I could push a 5 for exactly 5 minutes before dropping. Weird.

*puts flaming paper bag on Kay's porch*

How did you solve your resistance problem? Um'd Kira's?

As long as you got a good roll...
