I agree with you. I always thought D&D or RPG's like that sounded interesting, but I have never tried them.

you should take along a leather glove and challenge the guy to a duel. then elect me as your appointed champion.
Also today i'm off work due to the wife being crook (which is bad) but it means i get to hang with the wife/daughter combo (which is good) cos the wife goes back to work next week so no more days off together (which is bad). Callie (daughter) has also started calling me daddy (which is awesome). tiny people are the most fun people.
with any luck i'll get time to start work on my replica hammer. and draw up some plans for a pipboy. Because when i first made my fallout vault suit i forgot a pip boy. clever

It's amazing how an 80 year old gathers the strength to push you while you're waiting for the tram doors to open so he could get the seat he wants.

Love is maybe a little different meaning here. I love how they are quirky and weird. Which very much fits into your example still. They can however be very annoying at times because they seem to have a clear lack of respect for social order!

The first evening I have had to myself in seven weeks has been spent with two separate bouts of hiccups. FYI, I despise hiccups and the whole evening has been ruined. My FB status matches accordingly.

I'm not the biggest fan of old people. They demand respect, but they will not return any of it. They treat every younger person as though they are a criminal, and they drive really slowly.
Brunch tomorrow with a friend, then school function of brothers', then sit at home for a while. Possibly call RCG, see if we can hang out without her fiance. Dew, please.
PS: I almost typed FE's name with a lowercase e, and I think we should call him Iron Man from now on)

That sounds like a nickname people give themselves. I am definitely not one of them (the person or the nickname).

Fe is the chemical "name" for iron, isn't it? (in Swedish it's periodiska systemet...)
I have a whole weekend in front of me with no plans!!! I love it. Gonna clean the house a little, maybe bake some bread or cookies and perhaps even play a little. The week has also been good. Hard work but really good.
I am going to Miami in March to look at the tennis tournament. Anyone can give good advice on what not to miss?

I had about two hour's sleep after having five separate bouts of hiccups that lasted about seven hours. I also just remembered I said I'd volunteer at the charity shop for a couple hours today. My hangover doesn't want me to.

Not going to lie, if I was part of the generation that dealt with WWII, the Korean War, and even the Vietnam war (though from the sidelines at that point, not in the battle) and I had to deal with all the selfish, egotistical, cocky, lazy, worthless excuse for human beings that now dominate our 10-30 age group I probably wouldn't have a whole lot of respect for them either.
