Uber Tristram summoner advice

I got a fully geared summon necro on nl and I need some advice on how I can do uber tristram with him. Both attempt failed twice but I almost took out all of mephy life. But I would like to hear from other people that have good advice on how I can do it.

Just to let you know I have infinity merc and I decrep the whole way since im too laze to amp since this build has so many hot key. I also have terror hot keyed for diablo and baal.

You probably failed because Meph was still regenerating his life.

Get a 'Duress' armor for your merc. (Open wounds)
Infinity+Duress+Guillaume = 90% CB. Add fana from Beast and they will go down fast.

But my merc needs resist. Maybe if I lvl up more with my merc to get a bit more resist. With the setup you use you will have too low resist against mephy aura but excellent point with the duress. Well my merc uses eth infinity gp, bugged coh, and 70 kiras gul. I am really in demand for resist vs mephys aura. I was planning on beating out his conviction aura for a reason.

And one more thing I do not use beast in fact I use hoto instead for more +skills and fcr. I really want to hit 75% fcr breakpoint on this build without sacraficing +skills.

I don't think it is possible to do UT without fanatism, and also AD>Decrip if you are you are using a Clay Golem. Also bring an army of Urdars, they help quite well. Don't worry too much about +skills; absotion gear, resists and fanatism are more important in UT.

I'm not sure stacking resists will save your merc. The Ubers are level 110 and can probably own him anyway.

To protect him get a good ball of revives. Big ones like Urdars or Pit Lords. Ghosts are also good as they tend to float out.

This is how I get 75% FCR: Gloves 20, Belt 20, Circlet 20, Amulet 15 or Rings 20

zarkadon- It is totally possible to do ubers without a beast as I saw that done before with an hoto user. Decrep is good vs bosses but yes I almost took out mephys like using decrep but the merc did not survive to take out the last hit.

Lexur- Yes the merc still does die vs meph but maybe I can switch the helm to blackhorns ort to sorb mephy a little bit. That may take care of the whole lighting and dying thing. And yes I did use udars. Is there a limit of how many udars I should summon? It feels like the summons get too crowded and tend to take off from the boss but im not too sure.

This is how I did UT with my summoner, I followed this guy's guide and as you can see it can eat up ubers in no time. I doubt there is a faster way. Look at how he did it, if you need any translation on the equipment shown at the end, let me know. And the merc uses CoA, COH and Infinity, according to his guide (I used Umed Andys on my merc, and still didnt die).

That was very nice but I do not rely on such a strategy like that. I want to stick with 75% fcr setup while doing ubers as I saw it done before. CoA is too expensive just to use on a merc and I have no idea what you have socketed in the CoA but waste of expense. Here is my new game plan I came up with in my head:
1. Have merc wear blackhorns ort vs mephy to light sorb him (yes merc is wearing bugged coh)
2. Inventory with torch, anni, tomb of tp, 7 summon gcs, guillis helm, and all resist scs
3. After meph dies swap blackhorns ort to guillis ed/ias jewel
4. Lure out baal and do the same routine as ubering with summoner which I know how its done

Wish me luck on my test. Sorry for not taking your advice but im too inconfident sacraficing +skills because of fancy auras. But yes you did help me and I got to thank you for that. Yes the first strategy for ubering with a summon necro was keeping merc alive and using fcr gear like hoto instead of beast.

I agree the CoA is kind of a waste, thats why I stuck to Andys, which still wasnt a very safe option, but he still made it through. I like your Blackhorn idea though. I just gave you my advice from my past experience, you are obviously free to build the necromancer you want Good luck

It is not possible to keep merc alive vs Ubers. Only chance is that Ubers attack revieve instead of merc but it is extremely rare situation. Did not try but I think the best would be A1 merc with Faith bow. Damage and CB is not important. Important is aura which works only when merc is alive. Rouge is quite smart to escape and survive.

What do you mean not possible to keep merc alive vs ubers? I kept my merc alive vs the mini ubers but lilith I had to keep juving my merc to keep him alive. But I did lilith before.

Read guides in link. Miniubers are much easier. I did UIzual and UDuriel (not Lilith) with bonemancer using couple revieived Udars (revieve from "White" wand).

Sometimes merc stay alive even versus UMeph, but it is very rare.

Meph did not summon his minions. Is this is single player game with mod?

In this situation you can teleport next to monster. Then Meph attacks minion who is most close to him. When you have minions surrounding Ubers you must teleport exactly on boss. Then his attack priority is player, merc, other minons.

Super Unique bosses did double damage vs merc and receive only half of his dmg. Then your merc receive about 1000 damage per attack - can survive only one hit.

Lol the summon necro's summons negate mephy from spawning his minions. Its on closed but its not my video. Somewhere around the middle of the video shows the game and password so how it is open? This is totally legit.

I forgot - 1.13 patch: Maph did not summon untill Baal and Diablo die.

That is why you have to take out mephy first. I know its possible without fanat its just you have to keep merc alive. I just need to take time and claculate the resist and +20 light sorb for my merc and see if that will keep him alive. Now just to look on the arreat summit.

Merc dmg doesn't help you, merc CB helps you a little bit but is not really important. Most important is merc aura, but if you can afford "pride" you should care only about his survival. Then I think that Um Blackhorn + Um Guardian Angel + "silence" can be nice set.

My necro doesnt even need a merc. I solo them with my skeletons+revives.

Just revive maulers and get enigma, Life Tap+teleport to Mephisto and wait 20 minutes and his finally down. Edit: Skeletons to ofc.

But merc makes it easier. My merc is a a3 merc, i dont want to have a a2 merc, theire boring.

20 minutes? I am not taking that advice at all. Using lifetap is not the way to go either. I just need a summon necro expert that knows the strategy using decrep on ubers instead of other curses like amp and lifetap. But thanks for your imput.
