Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Laarz, thanks for clearing that up. I couldn't figure out rolemessage, although I knew it started with role. And starfleet was not something I thought about.

Okay Krazey I gather you are trying very hard to get the point across you DO WANT TO BE LYNCHED TODAY. I wonder why so many have not posted yet.

Leo, you passed out?

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Krazy are all those posts intended to be turned into binary and translated or are you saying you don't want to be lynched today?

Reply with Set course: 111.111 if you do NOT want to be lynched today. Tired of guessing.

So you didn’t think Mara was acting suspiciously at all yesterday?

Mara's play style was quite consistant with how he usually seems to play so not really. He did seem to have it in for you and Ank however - do you feel anyone on your case is automaticaly suspisious?

I feel a vigi wouldn't go until they are pretty certain which is why I suspect a SK. What happens over night should hopefully clear up the SK/vigi discussion.

I_Told_You: Is it possible we have 2 evil factions? I was reading more about the mafia game and I saw a bunch of permutations. Is there something that leads you to think there's an SK over 2 evil factions? I ask this mostly in ignorance. I'm sure there's clues that are obvious to some that I'm missing.

Again, I'm not discounting a SK or a vigilante. I just don't see the reasoning that leads you to sk first. Not suspicious, just want to understand.

I'm having a bit of trouble accepting Ankeli's role claim.

A second mafia is also an option - that I hadn't considered. I'm not greatly experienced myself- but Vigi and SK are quite common and I've never seen a second mafia. This game is quite large so it's certainly a possibility.

I'm having a bit of trouble accepting Ankeli's role claim.

Myself also- he's claimed early and it's a role to kill a mafia if he's targeted so why tell everyone- surely the idea of the role is to take out an unsuspecting mafia not broadcast it to everyone!- now if his claim is true his role is useless.

Yeah, those were my thoughts too, I_Told_You.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

I was thinking the mutated speech of the late Loz and current Ankeli might be a precursor to Borg assimilation. But I guess the story would have stated such...at least in Loz's case. With the speech patterns being different from Loz's, I simply cannot trust Ankeli claim of attack by Romulans.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

That Loz was found in the agony booth makes me think he was the regular NK- I think the booth is linked to the mafia somehow- tho I may be completely wrong and reading too much into the story.

Having thought about more,I thinkyou may be right, also think that a SK killed Mara not a Vigilante, SK doesn't care who he kill's. Maybe Mara stepped on his or her toes.
