@udgard: isn`t that from 1.07? IIRC max sockets for all poleaxes in that version is 4 so you can larzuk any runeword base for the most desired number of sockets.

I had enough of LK runs for today and was inspired by Sirpoopsalot to dust off my Javazon and kill some cows. She's very efficient now that I have a nice 1.07 MPK ring on her so that she can spam Lightning Fury to her heart's content while her Infinity Merc tanks the cows for the second they are alive. On the third run I saw this and thought "Oh no! not again!".
What do you think drops from a normal cow and is nearly twice as rare as a ZOD rune, and yet is completely useless? Another of these, that's what.

I knew that it was going to be a failed unique as soon as I saw a rare vortex shield in the cow level. I now have a pair of failed unique Vortex shields as my only class specific TC 87's and they both dropped from normal monsters!
I thought after my last one of these failed unique vortex shields I would never find anything so rare ever again, but this has trumped the rarity of almost anything I could ever hope to find, even finding a Zod rune.
I would have happily accepted one of the runes between Lo and Zod which are many times more common than this as my highest rune from sources other than the hell forge or LK superchests is still only an Um. :banghead:
