Etdlahq Memorial Bar - your shelter from forum crashes

I'll take the latter.

Aikido tired me out. I'll take an Innocent smoothie and a hot shower, and then some sort of mindless action film so that the brain doesn't need to work any more.

My sensei said my bokken was free as I mentioned it was my birthday. Nice guy. He also said I may have my yellow belt grading next week. I'm scared.

Noodle's Moonshine Recipe

Ingredients: Five pound bag of potatoes

Take bag of potatoes up into the hills. Find illicit moonshine still. Hide in bushes until outlaw distiller arrives to check his brew. (I say he, because outlaw moonshine brewers are invariably male. And bearded.) Pelt outlaw distiller with potatoes until he is unconscious. Take moonshine.

Sometimes when I'm home alone, I like to pretend I'm an awesome assassin who goes around killing large company CEOs for insanely large amounts of cash.

Feelin' good, yeah.

Neat, everyone's in the bar today.

*orders pizza*

Yeah, I hear that's big in Ontario, Turb.

Uncle Mike, have some moonshine and rain water - it hasn't rained in a while, so it's actually pure 'shine. Which, as the recent International Space Station shows us, is the best drink ever.

The only trouble with moonshine is that the next morning it feels like there's an army of beavers in your head trying to chew their way out through your eyeballs. (In reality, there's only one beaver, maybe two at most. Some army!)

@BoDTrader - That's a nice funny cowboy dance, but it's a bit dated. I really take mine to the next level - a little moonwalk in tribute to MJ (given my state of inebriation when I perform it, it's probably more accurate to call it a 'moonshinewalk'), some fireworks, a reinactment of Custer's Last Stand ( I play all the Native Americans, Custer, and two horses), some tacos, and a pantomime salute to history's great seamstresses.

@Noodle: that soundl like one heckuva drunken cowboy dance! Good times.

I just killed off Judith the Sword-wielding Sinner :( and need to drink away my sorrows. So, I'll take a Long Hammer, if you don't mind. Yum. :guiness:

There are some Elite Uniques around . . . Thy was here earlier (where'd she go) and Water Moon brings cookies every nowandagain.

I'll have another LongHammer, for sure. Yum. It's about time to go poach some salmon for mominem and my dinner. Yum x2.

Cheers. :guiness:

I had a plan once, but I forgot to water it. It died.

Genuinly laughed out loud at this. You're very quick witted i must admit.

On a different topic, i just spent the last 15 or so minutes learning the opening to the tristram guitar music. You've gotta admit to yourself that you're a diablo junky when these sort of things happen.

No!! That is the one and only amazingly good song in the game to actually learn to play. I sometimes play the Bnet player or sometimes I watch the home-made alternatives that are even better played (from youtube). You'd better record once you got it.

Amazing, Drystan. I've already re-read Belgarath the Sorcerer and Polgara the Sorceress. I am also re-reading The Belgariad right now. I'm approaching the end of Magician's Gambit at the moment. I never tire of those books. They are just so easy to read. Although I would strangle Ce'Nedra, can't stand that pouty two-faced nonsense.
I've never read Polgara the Sorceress, but I'm also part way through Belgarath the Sorcerer. I started it while waiting for the books I didn't have until now to arrive. There's so many characters to love and hate in it. One of my favourites would have to be Silk. The dry humour that I enjoy, and the whole Drasnian intelligence. Although, I could probably say each is 'one of my favourites' because they all have the unique charm/ability which really makes the books enjoyable.
I agree with your 'Ce'Nedra being two-faced' comment completely, but being a spoilt rich Dryad/Tolnedran Princess, it's fitting. She also 'kind of' learns at the end. ;)
Belgarion's "why me," phrase gets used a little too much in my opinion.

I've got to admit, I laughed too. :)

Definitely a good piece to learn. I've never spent enough time practicing it, and currently have a 5-stringed guitar (high-E string snapped) so can't play it properly at the moment, but it's such a good song to play.

Wow, all the stools are taken. I guess I'll just sit on the couch.

I need a Dew, and one for my fried friend here.
And holy cow, Ashmer! Is everyone just returning to the Bar?

By the way, Gorny, I counter your feral feline with an edgy echidna.

My top E snapped and i had no string to replace it so i used the B i had left over from the last time i restrung the guitar. lol. I really need to buy another set of strings now that i think about it.
