Etdlahq Memorial Bar - your shelter from forum crashes

Boo because I'm the ghost of Diablo past... I've been away from D2 and these forums for almost a year... Got a job with longer hours, and started playing console games in (my rare) spare time, so D2 fell off the radar.

Lent all my console games to friends while I was away, so when I got back and was bored with nothing to do, I decided to check out these ol' forums here... And then played D2 for 2 hours tonight. Damnit. And that is what happens when you don't delete the game.

Haven't paid my Pal fee in 8 months or something, not sure why its still showing...

LOTS of photos. 2 week trip, over 800 pics taken. Glad I had a big memory card. :P
 
It wouldn't matter if you had deleted Diablo. You would have reinstalled it anyway. :wink:

Glad to see you hanging around some after being away. I missed the zzzz's. I looked to be sure, but it's funny that I remembered there were four of them.

@Drys: I see that depending on what computer I'm at. The desktop at work has a missing image Bronze Pal spot (Windows Explorer, in case it matters), but my home computer shows it (Firefox). It doesn't line up like it used to back before all these recent forums issues these past months, but at least I can see the words at home.
 
Ah, I need a "Get-in-the-mood-for-learning" drink. Yeah, you won't be hearing much else from me about my RL the next 12 weeks or so...

btw, where did omgwtfbbqpwned go? Haven't seen him in a few months.

And thanks for updating the Trade Profiles, Thyiad! Have another drink or two and think about naming interns to do the dirty work :wink:

I have not even seen him on MSN either, though he did not sign on much even when he was active here. *shrug*

Amazing, Drystan. I've already re-read Belgarath the Sorcerer and Polgara the Sorceress. I am also re-reading The Belgariad right now. I'm approaching the end of Magician's Gambit at the moment. I never tire of those books. They are just so easy to read. Although I would strangle Ce'Nedra, can't stand that pouty two-faced nonsense.

@Drystan, Grisu, Nagis - Oh 'poops does do them. When I can catch him. You'd be amazed how fast he can run. I caught him up a TREE last time. :D Thanks for the offers, guys. ;) Profiles have been a painful but useful thing since Cattleya/Hrus started them. You can see the use but trying to make it easy just is so tricky. I was trying to work out a way to shove them all into excel to sort but you can't just copy/paste because you get the posters names/dates etc in there.

The forum looks very odd on this monitor, very wide. I shrunk the window and that was fine until FB showed up. Your username is a third of the screen. It's like the side bar before Rush shrunk it. :D

Pretty much my thoughts last night when I really fancied a voddy. Then I decided that if I was seriously considering driving to a 24 hour supermarket for alcohol at 1.30am, I *really* shouldn't be having one. :D

Managed to cook fried bread the other day. I was very pleased with myself.

Now more tea or ... D2. Tough choices.

That's when you need one the most. As long as you don't start drinking it on the drive home, you'll be fine! :crazyeyes: At home, it's just you, 35%ABV and a long, tall glass of anger and self-loathing.

Anyway, I've polished off a six pack already. I seem to have made some reparations with the GF. I would drink more but I have martial arts later.

Noodle staggers in. A kitestring is stuck to the bottom of the one shoe he is wearing, with the kite dragging on the floor behind him. He approaches the bar, blinks a few times, then spots Thyiad. "Thy! Y-y-you're twins! Why don't both of you pour me a strink, I mean a drink. Moonwater and rainshine all around!"

Noodle begins doing his funny cowboy dance, resulting in far more broken furniture than usual. The kitestring gets wrapped around his legs, bringing him and several nearby tables crashing to earth. A feeble voice emerges from the wreckage, "And the flowers are STILL standing!"
 
Did somebody say free drink? Not strictly my neck of the woods here but i never say no to drink :D.
