Highest Rune you ever found (forge not counted)

I just found a VEX rune in hell act 1 from those blue carver-lookalikes. I saw the name and I had to re-read it. "...vex rune?". In Hardcore mode sadly (which I only play for fun without serious intent) but still. I found one. The highest rune I ever found normally was an Ist in one of the baskets in the countess cellars. Before that, a Pul from the Council (several times though).


Whats the highest rune you ever found yourself, not counting the forgedrops?

Ber rune - on my way to the summoner (also found an Ist and Gul doing summoner runs) - all on recent ladder (no hrs from previous 2 ladder seasons).

Also saw a Zod fall during a Hell multiplayer chaos run - sadly I missed it

Droppin' like flies, left n right, seein' me rollin' up in da Caddy macked to da chromes, what it is, aight? Bashin' it to the posers in Compton, known to my brusefs as the Pit, y'all know how it is, you know whassup.

Ist maybe..?

I swear I saw a HR drop in a Baal run once though, about a year or two back. I've probably had HRs drop for me before but I've probably skimmed over them >.>

Jah (from a trapped soul in plains of despair)

Found some Pul-Ists in various locations and monsters, but never another HR.

I found a vex in one of the chests on tower 5. My habit of opening as many of the chests I come across as I can has paid off, although I'm not sure what to do with the rune yet.

Highest after that is a pul in hell CS. Without forge, my rune collection would be very thinned out indeed.

I found an ohm just outside river of flame last year. Couple of Guls from countess, several IST's including an IST that dropped in nightmare on the way to rescue the soldiers just after the last ladder reset, was blown away by that nightmare drop.

This human poster unearthed a Vex from a lowly urn-type receptacle in the Ancient Tunnels. Much joy was reported emanating from the Noodle Compound that night, according to eye witnesses.

Jah = pits lvl 2
Ber x2 = hell travincial and Chaos sanctuary
Ohm = chest after killing mephesto
Lo = one of the countesses minions
Ist x4 = Hell Countess (3) and Andarial
Vex = restart of ladder in a pub act 2 game working through maggot lair lvl 3

Only hr's i have found, have seen zod, cham, sur, and another jah drop though

only counting Gul or better:
this ladder: Jah (pit, level 1)
ladders before: Ohm, 3x Gul

2 Ohms, 1 Vex, 1 Sur, 1 Mal (yesterday :wink:) this season, all from the Travincal guys.

- Sur, Ohm, Vex, and Jah from Hell Council (travincal and durance level 3).
- Lo and Ohm from Hell Summoner
- Vex from random unique monster in nightmare worlstone keep level 2.
- Lo from Lister's pack in nightmare (my first high rune drop ever, back in season 2 BEFORE 2nd batch of 1.10 runewords was released, sad)
- Many Ists, Guls, and below.
- I have cubed up to a Ber before from Gul runes and the Sur I found.
- Never found a Cham or Zod...yet.
