That's the error I get every time I complete an act in DII with RRM and RWM installed. This is what my shortcut looks like:

Has anyone else had this problem? DII is running the most recent version and I installed it from the online download. Runes show up red, but I have not attempted making a ladder-only runeword. I am also running DII as an admin.

You're using the -ns command. That causes this problems when you move from one act to another. Remove that part of the shortcut and you should be all set.

Correct. The "-ns" argument is nice for repeated MF runs, but as Mursilis explained, it's not so nice for questing because it crashes the between-act-vids.

If you want to disable the music, it's Ctrl+M at the title screen.

Hi everybody!

I have spent more than an hour trying to get 1.10s to work and got as far as making the char with items from 1.07 in ATMA, but when I try to load it in 1.10s I get this error:

Assertion Failure
Location: D2Common\DATATBLS\DataTbls.cpp, line #2243
Expression: Your data table is the wrong size -- do you have stable data?

I've searched the entire forum and the only thing I found when googleing "Assertion Failure stable data 1.10s diablo" was in french which is what we in sweden calls something that is un-understandable "rena grekiskan" (like Greek language :scratchchin:). If anyone can help me plz do, I'd love to make a beta Crescent Moon =)

1.10s is not the most stable

My 1.10s has refused to load for a good 9 months now, even a complete reinstallation and registry clean up didn't fix it

Are you using the right ATMA? I think only 1 specific version of it works with 1.10s

Can you create new characters in 1.10s?

No I'm not using the right ATMa, didn't realize I needed one, but getting it as we speak - sorta. However that can't be the problem since, what I failed to mention in the last post is that, no, I cant create chars in 1.10s either. Or acctually I found that the char is created but the game crashes so you can't get it into a game, but the files are created...

EDIT: Ok, this was so simple I hate myself for not trying it earlier... I ran the Loader that the game creates it's shorcuts to, instead I simply ran the game.exe file and it worked =) thx anyway!

I can't for the life of me get RWM and RRM to play nice together. I can get either one, or the other working, but not both at the same time. Perhaps I just can't follow directions, but as I understand them, it seems that only RWM works. I have two separate zip files. One for RWM, one for RRM. I extract RWM so it resides inside the D2 folder.

F:\Diablo II\Runewords

So far, so good. I can now make a spirit shield. Instructions say to instal RRM according to the instructions. No frikin insturctions for RRM.

So I unzip it to the same place I did for RWM. I know have the following:

F:\Diablo II\Runewords
F:\Diablo II\RedRuneMod

And apparently I'm supposed to copy something from one folder to another?

Heres the major problem I think. If I copy anything from Runewords into the RedRuneMod folder, my shortcut is borked. My start in line can't read F:\Diablo II\Runewords because the runewords folder is inside the RRM folder. Is there some stupid instructions that I could follow. Something like this:

Extract the RWM into the D2 folder
Extract the RRM into the RWM folder
Change the Shortcut to start in the RWM sub folder, add -direct -txt
Enjoy

I've been trying to get this to work for an hour, and I'm tired and cranky, and wish we had an idiots guide to RWM/RRM because I'm an idiot.

I had the same problem with installing RWM/RRM, as I installed RWM first, and RRM only later after I started trading in the TF. What I did was download the pack that had both RWM and RRM and install them anew, then it worked fine.

I'm not sure about that copying the folder into another, I tried that and failed (maybe I'm just too stupid or something), but my current, working folder has RWM and RRM in a separate folder. Hope this helps..

Nope, didn't work. It is sort of the same problem I had earlier, I can not see the files through explorer - only through ATMA and now not even through GoMule. The files are there (as the chars still are and as ATMA can find them) but GoMule & Explorer claims they are not...

Right click on GoMule.jar and click "run as administrator".

Don't have that option which probably means I am the administrator on this computer (which would make sense, as it is mine :P) but I played around with the user account settings and when I unticked the UAC (don't know if its called that in all languages, my Vista is in swedish) and restarted the laptop, the chars disappered in D2 & ATMA V as well.

And when that didn't work I fiddled around with the map settings on the 'save' folder, ticking and unticking the administrator things which resulted in the same thing - the files were 'gone' and D2 & ATMA V couldn't find them either.

Also tried copying the save folder and moving it, hoping that the files would show up - but they didn't, and trying to find them trough ATMA V & GoMule didn't work. And, as I mentioned earlier, I can't find them when creating a new project either...

I had a friend e-mail me one of his chars to see if it was GoMule that was acting up but it can still open, move and save chars & items so I think it's just my windows vista that is messed up - especially seeing as I seem to be the only one with the problem :(

One wierd thing that has happend however is that I now have a GoMule backup folder on my desktop - and I have no idea how it got there or when, saw it yday whilst playing around with the settings. Maybe I need to move this somewhere for it to work again? (it would make sense to a non-h4xx0r like myself... :D)

I can still play and use all my chars but I much prefer using GoMule over ATMA, and I have a feeling when I decide to switch laptops (or move my chars) I won't be able to... Which would.... suck.

Any ideas?

My next step is to do the whole no-CD thing, still havn't sorted that out.. Doubt it will help though!

Update:

Just found out that I may have traded for some items that were not Vanilla (the version I play) through the trader forum, I removed them (an occy & arachnid) from the char, had to move around some items on the others (using ATMA) and now I can see & use all the chars through GoMule, however, the stashes are still not working.
I can see them now, both through GoMule & Atma as well as explorer but when I open them in GoMule they contain no items, but they do according to AMTA (and myself, the one who put them there :) )

What now? Im going to try creating new projects and see if it works...

Edit: It doesn't work to open them in new projects. They still show in the folder, and I can add them into GoMule but they remain 'empty'.

Reinstall gomule outside of your normal program files dir (or whatever it is named in Swedish). Vista blocks access to this directory for the program and redirects such calls to somewhere else, user dir if I am not mistaken.

I do use Vista. I didn't know it blocked things in the progamme files folder, very strange. Altough it is currently in the 'my documents' folder, is it the same thing there? The wierd thing is it worked perfectly up until about 2-3 weeks ago, and now its back to normal with the chars its just the ATMA stahses that it won't open...

Another Q though: if I was given modded items (i.e. RWM/RRM uniqes) and put them on my Vanilla chars, would this cause GoMule to do this? I made a trade with someone in the trade forum who may have given me RWM/RRM items without saying, so if this is the case it would explain a lot...

Also, how do I uninstall GoMule? It doesn't show in the 'add/remove programmes' thing in the control panel... I am lost! :whistling:

Nope, only the programme folder. (Something to do with programs having settings pro user)

edit: It's a known problem, if you have problems with other (usually older versions of) windows programs, install them outside the programme folder and try again.

Nope, should not be a problem (at least never on the versions I worked on).

(edit: first read completely to read the exception, then start deinstalling/deleting)
It is not there. You just unpack from zip or delete from disk, very easy. (no windows registry stuff and compatible with linux/mac)

Except make sure you keep (copy) your projects folder from within GoMule, otherwise you will loose the bank's gold from all projects you have.

Ok, so I reinstalled GoMule(managed to keep all my gold as well :alright: ), moved the stashes from ATMA outside of the programmes dir, but when I opened them in GoMule they were still empty (they are empty when I try and open them through ATMA as well, but when back in the ATMA folder they are 'full' again). I can find them now though, which is a major improvement...

Sorry to keep bothering you, it is just very frustrating!

Okay.. I just got another error on my character files. THe same error happened last time with my stash, with atma shutting down each time I open the char. After pondering some time... I realize a common thing between the character and the stash : it had keys of terror there. I logged in with the char (it can still enter the game, but ATMA can't open it), dumped they key (as well as two other items, actually), and now ATMA can open it nicely again. So... is Keys of Terror bugged with ATMA? O_o

Hello, I'm having a problem creating my flavie, every time I go generate the atma files, it keeps saying it "times out" doesn't create it within 20 seconds. I raised the time limit to 120 seconds, and it didn't seem to do anything.

Is flavie pointing to ATMA correctly? Is ATMA installed?
