New Sorc

Ok so I made a barb and apparently ruined him and made him pretty useless with my skill selection and stat selection. So I want to make sure I don't do the same with the sorc I make. I was just wondering what is the easiest pvm build to do? And what gear is good for a new sorc?

look at the meteorb guide in the stickies; it's probably the best/easiest allround sorc.
