Mephisto runs

Hi all,

I searched on here and checked the stickies but I am still lost. Is there a place where I can find a definitive guide to meph runs (for example how to find durance 3 fast and how to reset and lock maps)? The link the sticky above is dead - the dracoy.com website is no longer up

I just teleport clockwise around Durance 2 from the WP, until I find the way down. It doesn't seem very consistent though.

For battle.net runs you will always have a new map.

The fastest way to find D.lvl3 is to teleport along the outer walls and look and you minimap for the sign.

For singleplayer to reset the map you need to enter in another dificulty.
For ex: You make a hell game,go run meph and you don't like the map.
Make a NM game(you don't need to stay in it or something ,just make it) and then make another Hell game.You will have a new map.Repeat until you have a good map(5-20 times i suppose).

For the moat trick there are enough guides around here.

Thanks for this info Ilumm! I was really confused about the resetting map thing because I always saw the map reset (I play on bnet). Now I understand It's only on single player where you can keep a map! Thanks!
